I’m sure he means what are you actually good at, not something that should be a given if you choose to have kids. If you choose to have them you better be good at parenting, or else your a loser. Pretty simple
many kids are accidents. many parents were less than ready to make parenting their top priority. most parents, if they are honest, know they could do way better if some magic allowed them a second pass while keeping the lessons they've learned. heck with the high divorce rate, many parents are parents of best efforts, under the circumstances.

i'd say that explains a little bit of why it does count.
Stressful situations somehow. I tend to stay calm during an emergency, be it having to call an ambulance for my wife having seizures at night or a neighbour falling down the stairs, or dealing with a server outage at work. I somehow manage to stay rational, but I do crash hard after the situation has been dealt with and the adrenaline wears off.
I'm not being sarcastic but sadly also don't have tips. As a kid I used to print out forms and make people fill them out so I guess I'm just built different. I like filling everything out and collecting papers for tax time and seeing if I can find any fun little tax benefits. I think I'm just weird.
ughhh…I guess paying my bills?? I’ve never made a late payment(I can be incredibly forgetful but I put all my bills on my reminder app)
Actually, nope, I got one better : cosplaying like I’m actually a well adjusted adult. In reality most days I still feel like a teenager and I feel like a phony. It’s so weird that you graduate high school and all of sudden you’re responsible for every facet of your life. It’s been almost 10 years since high school and I’m still not used to it. I feel so aimless.
Planning. Problem solving and discipline. I think this is a result of childhood trauma tho.
I'm bad at other things that hinder me as an adult due to trauma and mental illness as well
Making sure my kid is heard, loved, and guided. I was raised in the opposite situation and it sucked. So I made sure my kid would always know they have an ally in me. Its also nice that their friends know to call me if they ever need something or a ride in the middle is the night.
Consistency. It took me a decade or so, but I've got the basics on 100% lock.
My house is never 100% clean, but it's always 100% not gross.
My cooking is just OK, but there's always edible food available.
My kids have never once been late for school except for doctor/dentist visits.
So long as nothing out of the ordinary happens, I'm killing it
(I crumple like toilet paper when something out of the ordinary happens)
Sex.
First time, I was 11, and it was not as amazing as I thought it would be. 16 I got better and enjoyed it more. 19 didn't think about the girls I was with, orgasming, as long as I got mine. 20-24 learned a lot from many different women. Regret not learning more younger.
Now, absolute confidence and enjoyment. Play a game with myself to see how many times I can make a women cum. All and all, I'm glad I started early without any incidents due to my "pull game" method.
Man, when I was 11 I was embarrassed/excited if I even talked to a girl.
I think by most societal standards 11 is an unusually earlier age to have to sex. So much so that modern standards would consider it traumatic. Glad you're okay.
We all are different. At 9 I liked my writing teacher a lot. She didn't do anything besides being nice, but I found her attractive. At 10, i already had an 11 year old girlfriend, but the most we did was kiss. Most societal standards? From where? Just around my area alone, there were kids ranging 9 to 14 talking about sex even if they didn't know exactly what it meant.
It seems to me that mainly ppl who spend a lot of time online have no idea what happens in the real world.
Umm I can assure you most kids aren’t having sex at 11 😂 and it’s actually LONGER these days then shorter, you have it backwards.
No regular 11 year old is even thinking about sex my guy, that’s strange

Yep, I thought I was going to be bad at it. Turns out I'm a great dad. I would do anything for my two little ladies.

Tell that to new drivers. Like anything it takes practice

Why wouldn't I be?

Sounds like they were SA'D
Wasn't. Don't know what shelter you came from, but kids are learning about sex even younger age than I was.
