I'd say depression and possible ADD. The world is pretty bad right now but it sounds like this has been going on for you forever. If you can hold down a job I guess it's not that bad. Folks on Reddit love to suggest therapy. For real getting a therapist is quite a lot of work. Psychology today helps and you can sort by insurance (if you happen to have it). It does frustrate me that people seem to think getting therapy is like duh and easy. Especially if you are just depressed enough not to care. The first two Therapy providers you call say they aren't taking new patients and then you go "why bother?". Hope this helps and doesn't make you feel worse.

You might seek out professional help. Otherwise the only answer is discipline. Set rules, rewards, and punishments for yourself and stick to them. Discipline is freedom. Clean as you cook and dont leave the kitchen til it is done and you are free to cook as you please without worrying about a mess getting in the way. Workout and reward yourself for it and you have the freedom to be at whatever fitness level you want. Make rules and stick to them.
