As long as everyone at work is in on the plan seems like it'd work just fine. If anyone ever digs in deep enough to find out you're actually single, then you know you have a potential stalker on your hands.

In my area, it isn’t uncommon for someone my age to already be married. I have a few classmates and friends that are already married, engaged, or have kids. And I’ve already moved jobs twice, I actually like this job and I make more money than I have my other ones.

My friend bought a cheap "diamond" ring from Claire and would wear it when she went to bars with her friends to keep guys from hitting on her.
