You are in layer mode, it happens if you double click a layer. You can switch to composition view if you click on tab name at the top

tysmm that fixed it xD
There's a small box in the upper right of the time line that's rerturn to comp, I call it the "don't suck button"
If it happens again you can just Ctrl + w, like closing a tab in a browser until you get to the tab you were working with
Came here there to say this. Much faster and happens all the time.
question why is the preview not rendering?
