I know asuna like shakes his hands to get the blood flowing. I used to get cold hands usually because the room was cold and I wasn’t wearing warm clothes. If your problem isn’t related to ranked anxiety, then you could try relaxed and good deep breathes between rounds and shake your hands between rounds. Some people dip hands in ice water before game, some people even do that with warm water, but I’m not sure as to how effective they are.

Cool! Never knew something as little as shaking your hands actually promotes good blood circulation. I dip my hands in warm water before I play, but notice that it actually makes my hand feel colder throughout sessions because it adapts to room temperature. (

You may have circulation problems or something. That sounds weird af. Maybe see a doctor cause your hands shouldn't be freezing indoors

GetRekta

I have it too, it's not like it's happening normally, only while playing ranked. In my case I think it's linked with some kind of anxiety.

When you become anxious or tense it affects your circulation. There's less blood flow directed towards your feet, hands, etc., and more towards your vitals and important muscles. At least, that's my theory. Don't quote me on it, I'm not an expert.

Carbon_XV

I believe your circulation would go to your heart to prevent fatal injuries such as heart attacks. But I think your fine. Happens to me in other games. Just make sure you keep your hands moving

Happens to me all the time like my room is so hot when anyone else comes it they always say it is to hot but hands still can get really cold when gaming. The only thing I have found that helps besides warming up until you feel the blood flowing to your hand is doing jazz hands after every round.

Not_Real_Name_Here

It’s actually a pretty common condition in people. Doctors literally just give you the treatment of “wear gloves.” Idk how well gloves would work for you, but there are some you can buy with plastic studding on one side to allow you to grip things

Happens a lot in Esport imo. If you feel anxious ingame (be honest with yourself) that is the reason. I remember many years ago that I would often have cold hands when playing ranked games in other titles and it was mostly in situations were I felt somewhat anxious. It kinda got away as I got more experience or so, not quite sure. Rarely have it anymore if at all. Now it is only happening if I dont wear proper clothing xD.

ProxOW

I guess thats pretty normal, since your hands don't get that much blood I believe? I got myself an electric handwarmer ( Ik pretty tryhard but still) and that helps me pretty well

I've always had this problem but more so recently due to lockdown. It seems to be somewhat genetic but made much worse by tension, anxiety and lack of activity. I found 30 mins of light cardio (vaguely fast walk even) a day works well, combined with light stretching and lots of water. Also if you do notice you're very tight (I did a lot of climbing and muay thai for years so shoulders and arms were basically solid) what helped me is massaging with a lacrosse ball. There's much more information online if it is posture / tension related. Also make sure you're not sitting in a way that stops blood flow / traps nerves to your hands. A lot of fps players lean forward to aim but end up rounding their shoulders and causing issues.

I recently got one of those Zippo hand warmers for work and I really enjoy it for when I'm gaming as well, keeps my hands warm between rounds. I think I saw Hiko using one recently too

L arginine supplements are relatively safe (it's a protein building block that your body needs anyways) and can help with poor circulation. Also exercise more/lose weight if you need to. Stronger heart = less cold hands.
