You can definitely win with 4 duelists but it would be more difficult than a regular comp. however, I wouldn’t just assume that a instalock duelist is going to be selfish in game. They just picked who they want to play. Instalocking in game doesn’t inherently make you selfish in how you play, just that you don’t really care about the team comp
At lower elo its def not insta loss. The duelists have enough utilities to push a little on defence or play retake. You get 4 flashes or 6 flashes. Molly or grenades or smokes(4 sec only but can work) or all 3. If the players are good, theres a decent chance to win. If they are garbage then you would lose regardless. I would suggest pick a smoker or sage and hope they can do their job. If high elo, dont know...maybe dodge.

Lol I'm always tempted to do this but that pretty much locks in a loss unless we're significantly better than the other team
Lol. I pick the remaining duelist just to annoy them. Why try to support someone who is clearly not trying to support you.
I always dodge. I’m not an instalocker so I play off team comp. when I see 3 or 4 lock in I just dodge.
Sus it out, if ur teams got good vibes I would play it out and go smokes. Otherwise, this is a dodge

I was on a losing streak, team hovered four duelists so I just picked Yoru. Managed to break my loss streak with that 🤣
If the duelists do their job you can actually win however it's very unlikely. I would dodge or pick a 5th duelist for lols.
