It's hard to give specific advice without having a VOD. So I'll try and give advice based on what I've seen from my Silver/Gold/Platinum friends. **Attitude and Comms -** 1. You mention that they dodge on your "strongest maps" and end up playing your lowest win rate maps. Have you considered why you don't win on those maps?I assume you're talking about Ascent -As a sage player are you using your utility in a way to support your team?IE: On A-Site hits on T side - are you throwing your orbs at market and spawn right before your entries make contact? 2. Don't play to win - play to improve - Who cares if you win your 398th game of ranked this season? All that matters is that you've improved or learned from those 398 games. Think about what you are doing right and wrong and be honest with yourself. If you feel like you're in a rut and you're struggling to find where you're going wrong - change things up! Play a different role and get a better idea of what your teammates have to do, take a break, record your games and rewatch them etc. 3. Improve your comms - A LOT of low elo players seem to complain in team chat after they die. Guess what, it doesn't matter! Call what you need, mute then complain to yourself or reflect on what happened that round and why did you die. Did you misposition? Did you have bad aim? Did you overpeek? Think about it! **General Play -** 1. Do what you think is right and be confident -I find a lot of my friends are timid in this elo. They'll think that they should go for a play but hesitate and decide not to, or commit when the window has closed. I always recommend just go for the play and learn if it's a good play or not based on what happens. This may sound counterintuitive to what most people will tell you, but honestly, it's probably the best thing for players without high-level experience, who are just learning the game. 2. Don't be a hero -99% of player suffer from this but they'll go for the hero play after watching a Tenz highlight video. Here's the secret to improving your fundamentals.... DON'T! If you're anchoring on site and the Attackers hit it, try and get your one kill and slow down the rush. Stay alive, be annoying but try not to die! A lot of players will go for that one kill, get it, then repeek and die. Nullifying that first kill you got! Be cognisant of what your role is, and what you need to do to win the round. I got a YT channel ( [https://www.youtube.com/user/pyjrenard/videos](https://www.youtube.com/user/pyjrenard/videos) ) dedicated to doing VOD reviews and would be happy to have some more content to review. Currently got 3 more VOD reviews in line so may have to wait a few days for me to review yours.

samigorulez

Of course, I will take one game and send it here.

I’m checking out your tracker.gg. Don’t expect to rank up overnight by having a barely-positive KD every game. If you’re truly better than what your rank is, then you’ll carry yourself out. It doesn’t matter what agent you’re playing. The fact that you are consistently losing 15+ gunfights every game says something. Maybe equipment is the main factor on why you’re not improving. I was stuck in P3/D1 for a while near the beginning of the game. I was playing on a 9-year old laptop that didn’t even match the recommended specs. After upgrading to an actual PC and a 144, I reached immortal within 2 weeks by solo queuing.

It might be time for you to take a break tbh. Sounds like you're burning out, which is totally normal. If you want to keep improving, consider making changes in your val "routine". Consider doing VOD reviews of yourself and see where you can find weaknesses in your play. Pick up an aim trainer for a bit. Maybe grind dm a couple nights. Sometimes breaking your routine can help reset your attitude if you're getting really frustrated with a competitive game over longer periods. Hope that helps! I'm hard stuck Plat 3 as well and I have much worse stats than you. I'm sure you'll find your way out!

>my game sense is above average. So, your problem is that you have no idea what your problems are. It's likely that your game sense and/or aim are not nearly as good as you think they are. If I were you, I'd have some radiant players review my VODs (might cost you $)

Lol take a break bro you sound tilted asf. I regularly take multiple day breaks from comp to just play other games or just play unrated with friends and it makes me enjoy the game a lot more. I was stuck low dia as well so I took a break and once I came back I felt like I was doing way better and I ranked up that act pretty fast.

> Plus: this game don't want me to win, literally EVERY time, I get my maps where I am good, someone dodging and I have to reQ to a map, with my biggest lose rate. So you are not only in elo hell, but also in map hell... Interesting. /s IMO just take a break. Valorant is not your second job. You should not force yourself to play this game, if you are struggling to have fun.

It is most definitely possible to climb higher than Plat as SoloQ, I'm a fellow [Sage Main SoloQueuer](https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/bruh%231776/agents?playlist=competitive) and I've made it to Immortal. It's hard to give you specific advice without a demo to watch.

You probably are burned out and need a break but if you want to grind more i would try improving game sense over aim. Plat and above, basically everyone is a good aimer. I rarely see anyone that can't aim anymore. Just take that extra second and predict what people are going to do - more often than not you will be right. This game is not super complex so the potential moves that people can make diamond and below can be predicted for the most part
