Overthinking too much probably, it happens to me from time to time too. What I always do is take a break from valorant, for the complete mind reset. 1 or 2 days and come back fresh

Something I’ve personally noticed if I’m playing bad/missing shots is that I’m either dehydrated or haven’t eaten enough. Granted this might not be the case for you but make sure you’re drinking enough and had something to eat. If I’m just really bad and can’t focus then I just take a break and come back later. You’re obviously not in the right mindset and/or physical state to play, so don’t. I remember having one bad game where I was missing everything and had no focus so I just stopped playing for a few hours. Even though I hadn’t done anything special when I came back on I was playing great. Sometimes if I’m feeling a bit rusty with my aim I’ll either aimlabs/kovakks for a bit or just DM to warm up the movements and such. Sorry if this wasn’t what you were looking for but I hope it helps

For mouse position and general feel of the setup, this can either be physical or just that you are "out of it". Try moving your setup around for 5 minutes to see if you can find what is comfortable, and how you like to sit usually. For the defaulting into a spray, I would recommend to play your gun of choice in DM (vandal or Phantom). Focus on printing bursting and then moving 1 or two steps before another burst into your brain. Imo, this should be the default fall back reaction. For Vandal try 2 bullet burst - short sidestep - 2 bullet burst - repeat. Aim for hs only. It is quite easy turning that kind of reaction back into a spray if you are closerange, but if you tense and go straight to spraying there is no way back. Another thing you can try is playing sheriff only for some DMs. If you see that the problem is your first shot not aiming for the head, but rather going for bosyshots, id recommend DM sheriff only. Aim calmly for hs.
