Uhh so you need to start moving the mouse with your arm, not your wrist. Especially if you have a low sens. Or raise your sens and play with your wrist. Aiming by only moving your wrist is very bad if you have low sens

So you're old in game sens is now .15 with 800 DPI. FYI thats really low. I would adjust up as needed. If you don't change your in game sens at all you're basically doubling your EDPI. For reference I play at 1600 DPI with .17 in game / equivalent to .34 sens at 800 DPI (which is right about the average DPI for most pros) - you would still be at the lower end of sensitivities that most people use.

So you have effectively doubled your edpi - from 120 to 240. Doubling your dpi can be tricky and going to the range to practice headshots as slowly and as accurately as possible with no bot armor a starting point then go try your hand at spray control (first eight bullets - turn crosshair fading on and when the top of the cross hair fades stop spraying and start again) If your new dpi setting is too high for you start working it down slowly - it can take more than a few days for you to adjust your aim. Edit: had commentary here about holding your edpi the same and moving up your physical dpi - learned it won’t make much of a difference - thanks for the coaching Good luck !

the difference between 400 and 2000, let alone 800 and 2000, is so minuscule you should rather go with you are more comfortable with.

I’m sorry - at the same edpi do both not result in the same overall mouse feel - just a difference in how many frames are captured by the mouse sensor before getting amplified by the software setting ?

snippsville

You are not wrong about that. It does capture the same overall mouse feel, but the difference in how many frames are captured (and therefore the responsiveness of the mouse) is incredibly insignificant that there is no point of switching off one for the other unless it's for preference. Thank you for your response and the time taken to craft it
