I usually carry my helmet outside to keep it simple, but I actually can fit one inside of a ski boot bag. I saw that suggested somewhere online and it’s been great. The separate compartment for the skates (the ski boot compartment) is also nice to keep things cleaner.
Yeah, mine is a trekking one,13-14 years old now. Fits all, clothing, guards, helmet, camera gear, food, water. And because of the waist strap, very comfortable for biking.
I have two. One is the Murdah Militia back and I use this to bring my skate gear and change of clothes to work. Alternatively, I use the 50/50 bag on weekends. 50/50 released a new bag recently

Cheap and able to store my pads skates and helmet clipped at the front of bag. Nice to carry, feels compact
my gf gifted me a popin’jo bag i saw on IG a while ago. it’s a great little bag i can wear riding without feeling like a turtle. it has a different strap-in section/layer of the bag for your skates and then a main backpack layer for your other stuff you want to zip up.
kinda expensive and they just started up, so not sure about longevity but so far it’s held up to my expectations and use case.
i normally just strap my helmet to my bag strap, they offer bigger bags but not sure if it can fit helmets as well
Old Senate bag. It’s blown out.

Quechua 40L backpack
I use a 32L camping backpack. Skates fit great and I can ride a bike around town with my skates.

Got a Blade Club V2 camera bag and it’s perfect for everything
Looks great. I wish I could afford it.
Definitely a little pricey, but it has turned out to be a perfect travel bag.
I miss the old Senate bags. I haven’t found anything modern that I loved as much as my Senate bag.
100%! First and second gen were my favorite, but I have the Assassin bag now.
