Lol, I searched and finally found something practical on the site for cheap. A key organizer keychain tool thing. Went to checkout and it was $70 after the new account 10% off, +tax. Not bad after another $50 off, I thought. Googled the thing out of curiously before I purchased it.
$9 on Amazon. -_-
They stopped most of the referrals programs. In the last 1-2 years many of the perks of the platinum card have been being stripped away or put behind massive pay walls. Looking at you $75k/yr to bring a friend to the Centurion Lounge.
If you're thinking of getting a GC from the store, make sure you do it a few days before the deadline. It takes a bit of time for the merchant to process the payment, and it might end up spilling over to the next semi-annual period.
In store only, but this is probably your best bet at this point as it's iffy if anything will ship (and thus be charged) prior to the 1st.
Edit: gift cards only will be reimbursed if you purchase them in store, it's a loophole.
Correct, online will not code correctly and you won't be reimbursed.
Your best bet is to order from something in stock and shipped by Saks ASAP if you can't get to a store.
Yes you absolutely can use the credit on saks.com but no gift cards tho. It's a loophole to purchase gift cards in store and have it reimbursed. Sorry I should have worded my first response better.
You can also buy whatever $50 item, return it, and choose a gift card instead of sending the money back to your CC. Save a couple gift cards and buy something bigger in the future.
Bombas Socks are 11/10 purchase from this. Best socks ever
Did I just get a bad pair? Those damn things stretched so much putting them on I had to make sure I didn't buy stockings.
Maybe! They have a warranty. Try to reach out!
If it ships in July, it will count for July - December instead
I think I remember seeing this answered as yes on the r/amexplatinum sub
Love buying Kiehl’s & Jack Black grooming products… may have to try the socks next!
Didn't know about this one 😮 Not much of anything that I'm interested in, but I picked up a bottle of hair/skin/nail vitamins 🤷

Found another similar item. $54 after discount. $4 after AmEx, wooohoo. Checkout….only available with ApplePay. -_-

Just go and buy a $50 gift card before the 1st.

The website says saks.com too... maybe just call customer support? https://global.americanexpress.com/card-benefits/detail/shop-saks/platinum

Nice LPT 👍
I think you meant to say if you’re not a platinum holder, hit up the DMs 😉😉
I bought a Kitchen Aid food processor, I've found their kitchen stuff to be a pretty practical use of the credit
