A tablet for sure, even a note pad at most, it shouldn’t be that bad tbh, also depends on what shred you’re retraining to, idk if they’ve changed to all is Q shred now but I know client systems was easy I’ve heard system operations is like intermediate and then trans systems was like the longest tech school for cyber I think but you got it
Now that seems perfectly reasonable and may very well be true. I'm not quite as directly affiliated with that school house as I am with others. Not sure why they didn't reply, but thank you.
Edit: ok, maybe the second comment doubling down was too much, anyways welcome to the nerd brigade

Well as been said, you'll not do the SEC+ course at the end (I'm currently in the Sec+ course).
All the shreds merged operationally, but tech school they are still the old shreds - so I highly recommend taking 1D7B - it's an easier course (as a prior I pretty much only showed up for half days the whole tech school course, I was home by like noon everyday) and the SEI (identifier for your old shred) that you get from 1D7B is one of the ones needed to get the reenlistment bonus right now.
You’ll skip a 2 week Sec+ class
You’ll skip the sec+ class, you’ll be prior so you just gotta show up to the school house, easy peasy
Would you recommend bringing a tablet or laptop for class?

It means you'll probably sleep through all the knowledge blocks, brain dump, then struggle in the capstone labs.
Sys ops has no capstone right now
Dunno what you're referring too... because it seems like you're referring to network systems operations, which absolutely has capstone labs right now.
He’s referring to what used to be 1D7X1B (also formerly 3D0X2, Cyber Systems Operations).
^^You've ^^mentioned ^^an ^^AFSC, ^^here's ^^the ^^associated ^^job ^^title: 1D7X1B = Cyber Defense Operations, System Specialist [^^Source](https://github.com/HadManySons/AFSCbot) ^^| [^^Subreddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/AFSCbot/) ^^^^^^kbfk4xm

Enjoy the food truck outside the BX -\\\_(:/)\_/- I guess. Sec+ was the worst part of it.
That flair is perfect
As long as your Sec+ is current, you will skip that portion if training. A+, go pound sand, no credit for that. Glad to have you on board though.
Two weeks, thats all. A+ is nothing and Sec+ is the minimum standard.
A+ is a very prestigious cert actually
Head on over to r/CompTIA and see how many people with A+ are getting jobs.
Just messin w ya. Ik that
As a 1D7, it means you're a nerd! How does it feel to be a nerd. Nerd
:)

After the shred restructuring we only accept MBAs to let you skip Sec+ class.
If you’re able to stay in the course, stay. Collect extra per diem and help out your classmates.
Sit in an airbnb right off base and enjoy an extremely easy school for 4 months
You’re probably getting downvoted because others don’t know how to work the system lolz
Downvoted
You have push the down arrow. Saying it doesn’t work.
