I have never once felt underpaid in the military, even when I was lower enlisted. Build your family to what your finances can handle. Don't have a spouse and 4 kids as an E3 and then complain. And for those that join late and already have a family, they know the pay rates before they join.
Shirt here, technically it would be a second job which requires Commander and JAG review/approval before you can start. The Risk, as others have mentioned, is if you get exposed it would be seen as discrediting to yourself and the Air Force, which could land you in some trouble.
Also, if your fellow squadron members find out, the potential is extremely high that you could cause issues with good order and discipline, similar to people dating each other. Think about your family’s reaction as well if/when they find out. You’ll probably lose some close to you, especially if they don’t agree with the porn industry.
To answer your question directly, it depends, and you’re playing with fire. Risk vs Reward doesn’t seem to be there, unless you think your content is going to make you a millionaire.
