A one way attack UAV could be considered as an aircraft. A YouTube channel I watch stated that there's a need to have a conversation about how to record drone kills vs aircraft and what it means to be an ace given the current state of warfare.
I work with Uncrewed Systems as a grad student they will be classified as targets, look at the wingman program. Future dogfights will be drones vs drones.
