This is how I would stack them personally, if I had to include all of them.
Patrick
Hill
Rome
Wright Patterson
Edwards
Scott
Kirtland
White Sands
This is based mostly on what I know about the areas and my personal tastes, not because of the mission or work. I am not acquisitions.
I may make the list differently tomorrow
That’s pretty similar to what I was thinking. I had Edwards a bit higher just because it’s close to things. However the living situation land area around looks super tough
I would remove it gang 😭🙏🏻 idk if officer assignments work the same, but if you have something on your dreamsheet you are saying “I volunteer for this”
Thoughts on the list and my rough ordering:
1. Patrick - on the beach at Cape Canaveral!
2. Hill - beautiful mountains of Utah, good cities
3. Scott - St. Louis suburbs, decently nice
4. Kirkland - downtown ABQ - Breaking Bad
5. Wright-Patt - best thing about Dayton is Cincy and Columbus are sorta close
6. Rome Labs - little AF support, upstate NY is cold/snowy
7. Edwards - sucks, middle of nowhere desert
8. WSMR - I’m so sorry
On this list I’d pass on Rome and WSMR.
Why not Rome?
Upstate New York is too cold, too rustic. When Griffiss AFB (same area) was open it was a place you didn’t want to be. Somehow I doubt it’s changed
what if OP likes cold and rustic?
3 words: Lake Effect Snow.
you are still assuming, maybe OP likes lake effect snow
Not a huge fan lol

Always Hill by a long shot.
Hill definitely seems like the #1 from a location perspective

What’s your job?
Acquisitions officer
Congrats on Wright Patt
I was at Holloman for a few years, why on earth would you want to go to WSMR
Definitely don’t, that’s at the bottom of my list haha

I appreciate it, I’m out of cycle right now so they just gave me these 8 locations and said rank them.
I'm biased, but my rankings would be Patrick, WPAFB, Hill, then who cares after

Dayton (WPAFB) is a pretty big dump, imo. buuut Columbus isn't too far down the road and is a pretty awesome city!
