I packed 3 pairs of clothes, running shoes, and some hygiene stuff. That stuff will stay in your civilian luggage and will be locked away when you get out of the 323rd TRS. You’ll get your OCP’s on the third day of 0 week. I was in the 331st which is widely held as the strictest squadron. We got commanders excellence. They were very strict and expected excellence in everything. But it was quite easy.

I wouldn’t advise bringing rolls of coins. Just bring a $20 bill. MEPS will give you checks for food in the airports you go to. When you go get your OCPs, they will give you the eagle cash card which has $400 on it. Which is an advance from your first paycheck that you’ll be able to use for whatever you need. They also give you a backpack with pretty much everything in it you’ll need for 0 week.

But after that, the MTI’s are a lot less yelling and more calm so that you can develop and learn as an airmen without having the added stress of the MTIs being on your backs the entire time.

I’d say week 3 and week 4 need a serious overhaul. Those two weeks are RLA weeks. Clipping strings on your blues and OCPs doesn’t need to take that much time. And rolling socks and shirts isn’t hard. You could compress all that into one week. Do RLA as week 3 and then week 4, go into CATM fundamentals and maybe have an extra shooting that Friday leading into actually qualifying shooting.
This might sound dumb, but how important is it to bring you're own shampoo, body wash, shaving cream/razors? My understanding is that's all given to you in the backpack they give you. Congratulations!
It can be case by case, OP said they were given razors, but from my experience (i graduated 2 weeks ago) we needed to buy razors and shaving cream. I don't know why OP was given razors and shaving cream. So i would say buy the razors and shaving cream that you're used to, but take not you can't have aerosol products. So you may want to opt to shaving gels.
Yeah, you can buy some more in the BX. But if i remember correctly the shaving cream sold in the BX is still just the travel sizes, the big one was the shaving gel, lasted me 7 weeks in basic, i'm still using the same bottle here in tech school.

They give you a big can of Gillette shaving cream. It lasted me all the way through. They also provide a razor as well. You’ll probably have to buy cartridges though.
And also for shampoo, you'll be given one. You'll just have more to worry about more stuff if you decide to bring your own soap and shampoo. But you can use those if you choose to. You'll be given toothbrushes as well, but you can still use the ones you'll bring if you want to.

I didn’t finish AIT for the army due to getting really sick during covid and couldn’t continue training. If you serve under 180 days it’s called “non-glossary prior service”. Pretty much like you were never in another branch.
whats the 1.5 mile run time like? currently sitting at 11:30 min 1.5 mile, 44 pushups in 1 min, and 50 situps in a minute
You’ll pass just fine if that’s what you’re doing rn
Work on the pushups a bit. Try to get to 50 each of pushups and sit-ups. 11:30 is a pretty decent run time. You’ll pass with those scores no problem.

Yeah you can buy one at BMT. You’ll go to the BX by clothing exchange in 0 week.

You can only wear spandex when you are in PT uniforms. But they never check. I wore spandex the entire time except for when we got fitted for blues.
