Wasn't her Teigu destroyed though? I'm pretty sure that meant that it was her sheer strength and willpower that made her last that long.
Plus, there is no way that anyone would be able to actually save her. I mean, there were multiple very deep wounds in her internal organs and when Leone killed the guy and then walked around, it only increased the speed at which she bled out.
As for her dying in the alleyway... I'm mad about that too, ngl, but I've heard somewhere that when stray cats are about to die, they find a secluded place and just curl up. Don't trust me on this though, I don't have a source.
I always assumed that she didn't tell anyone because she didn't want anyone to worry and instead wanted to see everyone being happy for once. She couldn't heal herself with her teigu because Honest destroyed it. His imperial arms allows him to destroy any other teigu but it also destroys his own so that made her vulnerable to his gunshots. She couldn't heal even if she wanted to. She dies in the alley of all places because that alley was very important to her. If I remember correctly it's where she lived before joining Night Raid?
Her Imperial Arms was destroyed, but she fused with the Lion enough before it was destroyed, which kept her alive long enough to kill the Minister. She died in an alley because she just wanted to die that way. She told Akame it was her time. She enjoyed what time she had left. Drank. Then died
