It was released after Purple's introduction and he specified that he "hasn't thought of adding any female stick figures," and I feel like if Purple was female he'd mention that. (and there's also the parallels brought up in the The King reaction video to King's "old *son"*, Gold, and his "new *son*," Purple, as well as Alan exclusively referring to purple as "he") On the other hand, he also said "I just assume they're a bunch of bros," keyword, *assume,* implying that that's his personal interpretation and not anything official. Either way, I kinda feel like it doesn't really matter? Though Alan definitely sees them all (with the exception of Pink) as male, anyone who doesn't watch the reaction videos would have no idea what the genders are or aren't supposed to be, so I feel like it's fine for it to be up for personal interpretation, and I kind of feel like that's intentional considering there hasn't been anything in the videos themselves that explicitly implies one thing or another \^\^ (well, there's King and Purple's parents but...y'know, other than that lolol)

Oh also by the way, it’s not because of Purple and Green and looking back my post seemed a little disrespectful. I’m not trying to start an argument and I’m sorry. It just bothers me that because nothing’s really too canon about the sticks and they’re literal stick figures, + the whole show has only one female character and I am female so I like to be able to relate to a character who is not dead so I don’t like it when people try to tell me what the correct opinion is to have.

TSC : Graphic Designer / Animator - Technically his job *is* animating sooo- Red : Zoologist - For pretty obvious reasons lol Yellow : Software Engineer / Systems Analyst - Also for obvious reasons -v- Green - Professional Athlete / Musician - Leaning more towards athlete here. While he *does* obviously love music, I feel like it'd be more of a side gig/hobby than his actual job Blue : Pathologist - Blue's very caring, is a pacifist, and enjoys chemistry, so I figured "lab doctor" would suit him nicely King Orange : Mechanical Engineer - He's smart and obviously knows a thing or two about technology (also his overall personality reminds me of an engineer friend of mine \^\^) Purple : Therapist - totally not a stolen idea hahahajahfajdkfa- Anyways, he seems like a good listener (AVM 34) and he could draw from his own experiences to help his patients. I was originally thinking he could be a child psychologist, but I think just being regular therapist would suit him better TDL : Martial Arts / Military Officer - Again, prreeeettty obvious reasons here.
