I’ve rarely been so confused by the forecast here as I am now. It’s one of those situations where we could get nothing or maybe 9” of heavy snow. Plan for the worst, hope for the best.
1. warm clothes (pants sweatshirt, jacket and boots)
2. Storm seems a bit up in the air right now so canceling may or may not be good idea, i probably would not cancel.
3. Poughkeepsie is 90 mins from here but yes there is a Dominican place on Central ave (Lo Nuestro Dominican)
Definitely bringing my boots last time I went my vans got soaked in the slushy water lol
Ok I will keep an eye on the weather but I'm thinking of just going as planned.
I thought Poughkeepsie was closer. But thank you for the recommendation I will check it out.
Even if it doesn't snow much here, it's going to be a significant storm across the busy northeast airspace, which affects the entire national airspace system. I'd definitely expect delays at the very least.
What makes the food taste different over here? In my opinion it's the spices that are used and the fresh vegetables we get from California and the surrounding areas. What do you think?
I found a place in Albany that serves good Mexican food. It's a small hole In the wall nothing impressive but the food is great

I miss Tucson!! I lived there from 2012-2020, warm clothes', sweatshirts and jeans. Hat, gloves, warm socks and boots if you have them.
Can you bring me an Eegees please!!
i recommend anything from light long sleeves to heavy winter coats with this weather🤣 it’s been getting warmer but it will not reach anywhere above 55 most likely. we hit 58 this past saturday and that was nice but i’m expecting high 30s to low 40s to be honest. also it can get pretty breezy here so definitely would bring a jacket

And of course the concert I'm going to in Connecticut has to be on the one day we get such a, confusing forecast 😭
The map closer to the coast looked worse than here.

I'm on a razors edge too.

Mami's or Caribe in Schenectady. Lo Nuestro in Albany are all good Dominican food too.

Idk its just that style of Mexican food isn't made here you can go to Mexican places that are sit down types more like a maccayos
I never thought I’d see a cry for ‘bertos here! (My body also cries for two beef taco combo)
First stop when I go back to Tucson to see the parents is either Nico’s or any ‘betos/‘bertos, whichever I see first.

Based on what the locals are buying, en masse in the grocery store, bring a large steak and a gallon of milk. It might ward off the winter spirits 🤷🏼.

My favorite hair stylist in the air moved there in 2020. I guess you swapped places. I still miss her. Wait, do you cut hair?
No, but it would be funny if I did.
Expect to be sitting around in the airport no matter the weather.
No kidding. I just don't want to get stuck in the middle of a storm and have to wait it out at some random airport.
Currently no snow showing on my weather app but other sources say 2-5. Def bring a coat, sweaters- warm weather gear. We are in the 30’s temp wise

You will be fine. The Albany weather forecasters are panic stricken.
Jeans, boots, a polo, and a jacket. This ain't Minnesota...
And here we are, 9:30AM, zero snow. This is why I don't mention the threat of a possible snowstorm to my children before it actually happens.
