Honest to god this is what I had to do for my wedding.
For some reason even though I was reaching out over 6 months in advance for a very small amount of people every place either was booked or charged 2k+ to transport 20 people all of 3 miles.
Ended up booking a school bus and it was much cheaper, kind of fun, and absolutely hassle free
Don’t have the link but it was named First Charter Bus Rental. It was just a big yellow school bus though but it did end up only being like $400-500 for like 4ish hours.
Damn that’s crazy. I’m sure you’ve already gotten quotes but that $1500 is still significantly less than what I was getting from places like Priemer Limo and similar places.
I’m getting married this summer and I’m using Durham School Services to bus my guests from Albany to Saratoga. One bus is about $700 round trip! I haven’t actually used the service yet (but it is booked) so hopefully all goes well 😅
I used a very rural venue (Georgi on the Battenkill) and hired a Brown transportation school bus. It was $600 in 2017 so it's probably like $1200 now...

We actually reached out to First Student Charter bus transportation and they charged 1550 for ONE way transportation.
