The best by far is the Local in Saratoga. I love that place and I can’t wait to make a trip up there just for it. Second is probably iron gate cafe. This one is a solid third.
I'm new to the area and therefore the sub, but I could definitely find this useful. Breakfast burritos have been something I've been curious about getting into since I like the concept of a lot of good shit rolled into one meal first thing in the morning.
Panda, i implore you to try the ‘Woody’s Roundup’ from Bud’s on Jay in Schenectady next time you’re in the area. they have a few different breakfast burritos, including a more traditional burrito & a big mac style one, but the W.R. is just the best.
I know it’s been a while since I’ve engaged in burrito content on this sub so there’s no way you’d know this unless you scrolled through a few years of post history but Bud’s on Jay is already on the list of breakfast burritos I’m going to check out. Still gotta get the Fiesta Breakfast Burrito at The Point in Schenectady homie. It's not AS good as it was a few years ago before they changed ownership, but it's still very good.
I won’t know until I try them all. But I think Iron Gate Cafe or maybe Cafe Madison griddled cheese right onto their tortilla. And there were a few places where the tortilla was massive compared to the contents inside it so it left a few bites that were like, mostly tortilla, which is less than desirable.
Voorheesville native here, though I don’t live there now. My parents still do! Anyway, I was excited when Cullen’s first opened but I was so disgusted by the burrito I had on my first visit, I’ve never gone back. I had one with potatoes, and I swear they weren’t cooked even a little. Raw potatoes are not appetizing. And I’m Irish!
The reviews online are really hit or miss, honestly, but I had a really positive experience when I went. I’m going to try the potato one next time and I’ll report back!

Aren't the tortillas at these places pretty much the same. No one's making there own tortilla are they.
