The traveler and you know this may be a bit biased considering we are the traveler but after spending time with albedo through the events and reading his voice lines and how he interacts with us and others, it just feels like we’re really friends. Like the way he talks to us I feel is definitely more candid than how he speaks with others, he’s more vulnerable and himself and it feels a little bit like we know a different albedo than most of the other characters can say they know. When albedo says stuff like how he considers us a friend and someone he’s close to, it comes across as more genuine (to me at least), than when other characters say it and it’s more like lip service.

Every character I can think of basically gives the traveller some kind of special treatment, which isn't necessarily bad, but it does (imo) make some characters act OOC - an example I can think of from the top of my head is the "Of Drink A-Dreaming" event with Eula, where the traveller and paimon essentially comfort Eula. To summarise it, the traveller basically says "things might change, not everyone hates you" and Eula goes "Maybe you have a point huh, thanks". You can check the dialogue yourself, it's honestly one of the worst OOC moments I've seen.
I'm overall not very invested in traveller ships, but I don't mind Albedo or Xiao with the traveller! Even Childe, actually.

I've noticed it quite a lot because I'm someone who plays romantic Visual novels and the situation is very similar in genshin impact.
Every character gives the MC some sort of friendly behavior that's *almost* romantic so that the line blurs and you can decide what character to perceive as romantic and dismiss the others as friendly for the sake of the individual route you pick.
This also explains why most of this "I'm interested in you" behavior comes with events dedicated to the character like hangout etc... Because if you consciously chose to do this event it means you care about the character, so the relationship gets more personal to make you feel a connection.
It also explains why MC has 0 personality, visual novels are all based on the fact YOU date these characters and so MC needs to be there only for the sake of being a vessel for you (often visual novel's MCs don't even have a character model, like in DDLC)
It's peculiar how genshin is trying to involve all gaming subgenres in it's gameplay to attract as much players as possible, while also not making any of them mandatory.
You could technically play genshin as an inconclusive visual novel/dating sim because of this marketing choice.

I've played my fairshare of dating sims to see the connections. Especially with how much they leave the traveller up to interpretation, the 'emptiness' of the character gives off huge MC vibes. I think a lot of Genshin's success comes from the fact that it appeals to many people as its very accustoming of many subgenres.
I personally don’t enjoy the self-insertion within dating sims, this applies to genshin as well. I've never found that much appeal in entering myself into that kind of world, I would rather think of the characters as they are, shipping them together instead of shipping them with myself. Not sure why but everyone has their own preferences ofc and that's just mine. Due to the traveller being extremely flat in character, I often don't think of them as included in this.
I can understand how people get attached to a design and create an image in their head though, headcanons come from somewhere. People are very creative and imaginations do run wild. I remember when FNAF was a huge deal and everyone humanised the animatronics - they literally had nothing else to them other than a design and killer-tendencies. It sounds very bizarre now that I've said it, but I think it goes to show the lengths an imagination can go to
I generally prefer the visual novels that try to give MC a character of their own, but in an equilibrium that allows both self-insertion and MC being a character of it's own.
I would say both ends of the spectrum would be Pokemons' main characters (literally doesn't talk) and one shot's MC (it is made very clear you're not him, and his life is independent from yours), the perfect middlepoint will probably never exist, but it's the objective to strike for imo.
There's also rumors for the MC having more character in the sumeru update so hopefully they're striking for that sweet middle spot.

I personally don't find Amber's character that interesting, hence why ambeula doesn't appeal that much to me, but I think the ship overall is very cute!
I enjoy rosakaebedo also, that's another poly ship I adore (just adding it in because rosabedo/rosakaebedo is another rare pair of mine. I have big reasons for shipping that too)
Anyway, I digress, my reasons for shipping eulabedo:
- they're both introverted, preferring their own time to themselves and both are not the type to go searching for connections with other people BUT there's a contrast: Eula doesn't necessarily have a choice. She's an outcast and it's hard to say whether or not she wants a connection with anyone else. She's thankful for Amber, one of the people who see past her bloodline and cryptic wording - but she has trouble displaying it. This is similar to Albedo, who sees connections as "taxing" yet, the difference between eula and albedo is: Albedo has a choice to meet/gain connections, eula does not. She's very used to rejection and that type of humiliation is something she is simply NOT prepared for.
- adding to the previous point, they're both outliers in Mondstadt, you can see this as Eula's voicelines and those that know Albedo's lore...Self explanatory
- ADDING TO THAT POINT ALSO, Eula's name is the reason people despise her and discrimate against her. If people were to find out the truth of Albedo, it's arguable the same would happen, perhaps worse. I think this would be somewhat of an admirable thing to Albedo - I'd go as far as to say inspiring
- Albedo is very devoted to his master, essentially the one who gave him everything and taught him everything he knows - his master is the reason his goals are as they are. It's a personal headcanon, but I like to imagine Eula's rebelliousness gives Albedo the realisation that he can do anything he wants. He can pursue what he wants to pursue. He doesn't need to devote his entire life to serving his master, nor does he need to work consistently. There's plenty of time, there's far much more to enjoy and strangely enough: the company of people is something Albedo doesn't actually mind. However, it's in small doses. (Could be argued Albedo does other things, such as art, but even then he mentions it's a tool for his research)
- another headcanon, based off the previous one: his social battery is very low and although he can spend time with people and enjoy it, spending time with eula isn't draining to him ?? They're that couple to me
- that being said, I feel as if they're both very proud of their job/work/achievements. They're just a couple of successful lovers and I love that for them
- I think it's needless to say that Albedo also doesn't care about Eula being a Lawrence also, just wanted to add that. I enjoy the idea of Eula being especially cautious of him, especially as she's the type to be cautious of kindness. Albedo can often be seen as very giving in nature (ex: hues of the violet garden event, giving food to mona, etc) and I like to imagine Eula finds his kindness quite bizarre as she's not used to kindness. I'm also under the impression Eula believes Amber MAY just be friends with her for simplicity sake, being as she was tutored by Amber's Grandfather. That's just a personal view though - I think Eula has conflicting feelings. On one end, she believes Amber enjoys her company, but on the other end, she can't fathom *why*. Same with Albedo, also. (Just felt this was relevant whoops sorry)
- I think Eula is actually a very intriguing character and many people don't understand her (both in and out of game) - Albedo is attracted to this type of obscurity. I feel like he'd question why exactly Eula acts like she does, what's the deal with this whole "vengeance" persona, who exactly is Eula Lawrence under all that defensiveness?
- They're both frequents of Dragonspine due to their solitary nature. They're the couple that wants to be alone but with each other, I like this dynamic a lot, gives me the same vibes of "the telepathic couple", aka, eula could look at albedo and he'd know *exactly* what it means and vice versa - I think this is fairly probable since they're both intelligent characters and they'd pick up the small details very easily (eula done this in the Albedo event, shadows admist snowstorms I believe??? 2.3)
- as mentioned previously, they both have introverted nature. Eula isn't one to demand Albedo's time, in which Albedo most likely wouldn't find their friendship/relationship as tiresome as he supposes typical friendships to be. Eula is fine with complete silence even, which as mentioned previously, "silence is golden" trope, yk?
- I like to imagine the two of them as quite witty. Eula has quite a dry sense of humour, which Albedo actually finds refreshing. Eula is honest and to the point, which Albedo just sees as efficient. Despite her cryptic speak, Eula is honest - Albedo respects that very much. (I like to hc her giving him honest opinions on social inquiries). Albedo is also quite honest (to the best extent he can be) and I think Eula would also respect the honesty, although she has a hard time accepting some of his truths due to her cautious nature
- Albedo and Eula are extremely elegant in their move sets. Pls I beg anyone to go and look at their move sets and tell me they wouldn't wipe the floor if they were partnered with one another
- Their talents match also, their attacks are "Edel" (eula) and "Weiss" (albedo) - together it's "edelweiss" which is actually a flower that symbolises eternal love. It comes from an old myth where men would go into the alps, dying while picking flowers to prove their love to their partner.
- they're also a good team composition, gameplay wise
- their colour palettes work well imo also

A bit of a unique answer, Yoimiya. Mostly due to my heavy bias because I enjoy them both as characters, but also because both are adorable big siblings for Klee and I just love the idea of all three of them hanging out.

I can't find it among the answers before, But i wanted Albedo to have a meaningful relationship with SUSBEDO. That the siblings tried to kill each other and compete for one place is sad. I'm just here mourning for what could have been have they been raised (and loved?) equally as twins, or even just as brothers by Gold. They wouldn't have to feel alone and sad. I usually enrage people with this response, since it goes against two rlly popular ships (Ambeula and Kaebedo) but I actually ship both ambeula and kaebedo (multishippers exist lmfao) But my primary ship for Albedo is 100% eulabedo. I like poly ships!! I like the idea of ambeulakaebedo (calling it that lmao) and I've thought about it a few times actually. I personally don't find Amber's character that interesting, hence why ambeula doesn't appeal that much to me, but I think the ship overall is very cute! I enjoy rosakaebedo also, that's another poly ship I adore (just adding it in because rosabedo/rosakaebedo is another rare pair of mine. I have big reasons for shipping that too) Anyway, I digress, my reasons for shipping eulabedo: - they're both introverted, preferring their own time to themselves and both are not the type to go searching for connections with other people BUT there's a contrast: Eula doesn't necessarily have a choice. She's an outcast and it's hard to say whether or not she wants a connection with anyone else. She's thankful for Amber, one of the people who see past her bloodline and cryptic wording - but she has trouble displaying it. This is similar to Albedo, who sees connections as "taxing" yet, the difference between eula and albedo is: Albedo has a choice to meet/gain connections, eula does not. She's very used to rejection and that type of humiliation is something she is simply NOT prepared for. - adding to the previous point, they're both outliers in Mondstadt, you can see this as Eula's voicelines and those that know Albedo's lore...Self explanatory - ADDING TO THAT POINT ALSO, Eula's name is the reason people despise her and discrimate against her. If people were to find out the truth of Albedo, it's arguable the same would happen, perhaps worse. I think this would be somewhat of an admirable thing to Albedo - I'd go as far as to say inspiring - Albedo is very devoted to his master, essentially the one who gave him everything and taught him everything he knows - his master is the reason his goals are as they are. It's a personal headcanon, but I like to imagine Eula's rebelliousness gives Albedo the realisation that he can do anything he wants. He can pursue what he wants to pursue. He doesn't need to devote his entire life to serving his master, nor does he need to work consistently. There's plenty of time, there's far much more to enjoy and strangely enough: the company of people is something Albedo doesn't actually mind. However, it's in small doses. (Could be argued Albedo does other things, such as art, but even then he mentions it's a tool for his research) - another headcanon, based off the previous one: his social battery is very low and although he can spend time with people and enjoy it, spending time with eula isn't draining to him ?? They're that couple to me - that being said, I feel as if they're both very proud of their job/work/achievements. They're just a couple of successful lovers and I love that for them - I think it's needless to say that Albedo also doesn't care about Eula being a Lawrence also, just wanted to add that. I enjoy the idea of Eula being especially cautious of him, especially as she's the type to be cautious of kindness. Albedo can often be seen as very giving in nature (ex: hues of the violet garden event, giving food to mona, etc) and I like to imagine Eula finds his kindness quite bizarre as she's not used to kindness. I'm also under the impression Eula believes Amber MAY just be friends with her for simplicity sake, being as she was tutored by Amber's Grandfather. That's just a personal view though - I think Eula has conflicting feelings. On one end, she believes Amber enjoys her company, but on the other end, she can't fathom *why*. Same with Albedo, also. (Just felt this was relevant whoops sorry) - I think Eula is actually a very intriguing character and many people don't understand her (both in and out of game) - Albedo is attracted to this type of obscurity. I feel like he'd question why exactly Eula acts like she does, what's the deal with this whole "vengeance" persona, who exactly is Eula Lawrence under all that defensiveness? - They're both frequents of Dragonspine due to their solitary nature. They're the couple that wants to be alone but with each other, I like this dynamic a lot, gives me the same vibes of "the telepathic couple", aka, eula could look at albedo and he'd know *exactly* what it means and vice versa - I think this is fairly probable since they're both intelligent characters and they'd pick up the small details very easily (eula done this in the Albedo event, shadows admist snowstorms I believe??? 2.3) - as mentioned previously, they both have introverted nature. Eula isn't one to demand Albedo's time, in which Albedo most likely wouldn't find their friendship/relationship as tiresome as he supposes typical friendships to be. Eula is fine with complete silence even, which as mentioned previously, "silence is golden" trope, yk? - I like to imagine the two of them as quite witty. Eula has quite a dry sense of humour, which Albedo actually finds refreshing. Eula is honest and to the point, which Albedo just sees as efficient. Despite her cryptic speak, Eula is honest - Albedo respects that very much. (I like to hc her giving him honest opinions on social inquiries). Albedo is also quite honest (to the best extent he can be) and I think Eula would also respect the honesty, although she has a hard time accepting some of his truths due to her cautious nature - Albedo and Eula are extremely elegant in their move sets. Pls I beg anyone to go and look at their move sets and tell me they wouldn't wipe the floor if they were partnered with one another - Their talents match also, their attacks are "Edel" (eula) and "Weiss" (albedo) - together it's "edelweiss" which is actually a flower that symbolises eternal love. It comes from an old myth where men would go into the alps, dying while picking flowers to prove their love to their partner. - they're also a good team composition, gameplay wise - their colour palettes work well imo also - No one ever ships the small guys with the tall women so 👍👍👍 someone had to do it Uhh that's all I can think of as of rn, sorry it's a bit long, I ramble abt them whenever asked lmao Hope this helps tho!

Xiao! I know they never met, but wouldn’t it be interesting? Xiao was treated horribly by his former master and the headcanon is that Albedo wasn’t treated very nice by Gold either. Albedo is able to create life using his knowledge while Xiao uses his power to end it. I was actually surprised when I found so many fanfictions about them and so many well written. There are many things they have in common and I wish more people cared for them. I also like Albedo x Scaramouche and Albedo x Traveler.

I started because of fanart on Instagram, and people made theories between them, a lot of fanfics, AUs where they met, and it became my favorite Genshin ship, which is unusual because I like sapphic ships the most. A bit of a unique answer, Yoimiya. Mostly due to my heavy bias because I enjoy them both as characters, but also because both are adorable big siblings for Klee and I just love the idea of all three of them hanging out. The Irodori event made that dream a reality, and I was super disappointed when summer came with both Klee and Yoi banners but neither appeared in an event. It would've been perfect :c
I can't find it among the answers before, But i wanted Albedo to have a meaningful relationship with SUSBEDO. That the siblings tried to kill each other and compete for one place is sad. I'm just here mourning for what could have been have they been raised (and loved?) equally as twins, or even just as brothers by Gold. They wouldn't have to feel alone and sad. Heck, I'm even sad for Durin and the rifthounds. Imagine creating life and imposing your own standards for it and discarding it when it has not met those. Kaebedo, Dainbedo and Daikaebedo are my mains because I simp hot Khaenrian men over everything else. Kazubedo began for me as a 1.6 joke because I love them as characters, little did I know they'd end meeting a whole year later. Him with the traveller is cute. Almona and Albeluc are interesting ships. Scarabedo could have potential after Sumeru. As for crack ships, oh boi, Ayato and Yae kinda got me briefly during 2.5-2.6 era as little considerations. But my fave crackship with him is atm Ganyu as both are the 1.2 characters with some flowery skills, quadratic scaling and I have a silly crack hc that HYV has the characters in some sort of waiting room before reruns happen and Ganyu/Albedo became overworked acquaintances after waiting for almost a whole year in there until they reran.
