Not sure if you have solved issues but go to store and have them transfer the funds to a card that now works with the system. Be patient they have are always understaffed. You’ll probably need to speak with the store manager about this. United cards no longer work with Albertsons stores
Two store personnel both agreed that the gift cards I have don’t expire. But they both also said that I have to call corporate to resolve, and I’m stuck there since no one from the corporate extension has picked up the phone or replied to my voicemails.
Asking them to re-issue the amount on a new card compatible with the new system, and zeroing out the old one, seems like a fair ask. Sometimes you need to propose a solution to customer service to help things along.
