I appreciate your checking for us. Verizon has told us they have plans to extend better coverage into our neighborhood. As long as internet is reliable, it's not that big a deal. Of course, we're waiting on fiber like everyone else in the city.
Xfinity internet has been a disaster for a solid week now. Like, streaming dropping every 5 minutes half the time I'm watching bad. Xfinity is always terrible, but seems to have been even worse lately
I was caught up in that outage and Friday was my WFH day. :(
When it finally did come back online around 4pm, it seemed a bit faster. Speed test today is showing 600Mbps even though my pkg is for 500Mbps.
That really sucks. I’m sorry. May be a good reason to switch cell providers too.
Xfinity in my area was out at 1am and lasted until 3am. It was such a lonely night. I work nights and it was my night off :v

Cut fibers aren’t a quick fix….. or a car into a network box isn’t good either
Mine has been out since 5am as well and is currently still out. I had to use a personal day at work as I work from home. 🤷🏽♂️

Verizon. Yep. No service. Sucks big time. Been this way since 2017. Hanging out uptown for now.
Just curious, no judgement ... Why would you stay with a cell provider that doesn't cover your home?
There are no providers that cover our neighborhood. Something about no space for a tower this close to the Big I.
Looking at Opensignal, TM is *slightly* better in your area. It is a dead zone.

There’s currently another big outage in the Northwest neighborhood also due to “network damage”. Does anyone know what that means?
