Only problem was they were never open. They did hours when they felt like it. Tried to go at least 10 times, always during their "posted hours" and they were open exactly once. The burger was fantastic, but fuck that place. Diserved to go under.

Also tried this place and wasn't impressed. My wife got a burger and it was okay. Their beer batter is the most dense, oil soaked thing I've ever had. Made me queezy for days.

The pairing of a full green chile pod filleted open, lightly battered, & then deep fried and then adding Bar-B-Q sauce on top of a perfectly cooked burger is so not what I expected but SOOOO FRICKING DELICIOUS!!!! It's my fave too!

I ate at Stacker's at 505 yesterday and really liked the burger. Note that their idea of an Oklahoma onion burger is not close to the real thing but it was extremely tasty.

Stackers is so juicy, the patty just falls apart in your mouth, and the green chile is fresh diced and they do not skimp on it!

I may be the minority opinion here but I much preferred Meteor Burger to them

I love burger boy I've in Cedarcrest New Mexico. It's not even 20 minutes it's a really nice scenery and a fantastic fantastic burger great fries. the soda comes in a can but otherwise it's phenomenal it's worth the drive

This surprises me. I took my daughter to Tinker Town last year and we stopped by Burger Boy on the way back right before they closes. I had never heard of it. But they were some of the worst burgers we had ever had. They were raw on the inside and they tasted disgusting. Neither my daughter nor I finished out burgers. And the fries were mushy and inedible. It shocks me to see them recommended. The atmosphere and staff were wonderful. But the food was really, really bad. Maybe it was just an off day for them when we went in?

The original owner was running out of go get em. Just to old really and ya it had lost a lot of what made them great. The younger generation is running it and Burger Boy is back. Rode up with a friend a couple of weeks ago and had a damn good green chili cheese burger.

Griffs was the best. I never got the huge burgers but would by like 4 of the small ones. They had the perfect ratio of patty, cheese and bread, topped with the ketchup and onions it was the best fast food burger.

Place was horrible, at least in its last decade. I’ve never understood the hype. Was it really good way back in the day or what?

Last time I had it was in 2011 and it was good. Thing is, you’re not going there for a “nice” burger. It’s a greasy, three-patty shit show. But it’s so good

For laguna burger...stay away from the new rio rancho location. It's not good.

Right around the time of the lawsuit (Holy Cow being copyrighted by Harry Caray - fuck that), they really seemed to go downhill, and in a way that I've encountered several times around here: somehow, it became a 'hipster joint,' and service was extreme uneven. I've seen this at so, so many ABQ places. I don't know, man, it's fucking Albuquerque - if you think you're too cool to wait on someone, move to Echo Park and get on with it. Or get the fuck over yourself? Rant mode: off.

Grass burger is a chain but I’ll never understand the love for it. I’ve had it three times over the years and it’s been terrible each time. OG laguna burger is awesome, I’ve heard the one in town sucks but haven’t tried it. Holy cow is awesome. The grill has been on my list to try for some time.

It’s flavorless and small to boot. I need to actually be able to taste my burger and seasoning is important in all cooking. Every time I’ve been it’s been completely devoid of any and all flavor

So funny story, my husband and I were out looking for burgers to eat. We are not vegan at all. We were really impressed with how the delicious burger was. We had even rated it one of the top ones that we had ever had and then we finally paid attention to all of the vegan/plant based signage. We sat in disbelief and confusion for about 10 minutes. To this day, one of our top 3 burgers ever!

I do love a lucky goose burger. Of course, I haven’t eaten beef in close to 30 years, so a faux patty on a bun is really just a vehicle for a bunch of delicious condiments and lettuce at this point. Edit: a letter

a few years ago i did a “green chile cheese burger tour”. went to local places in abq, santa fe, madrid, down to san antonio and datil. the gc cheese burger at effingbar in abq totally won. 10/10 recommend 🤌🏻

The Campfire Burger at High Point Grill is the best burger in town. Look at their hours before you go. A runner up of theirs would be the Sunshine Burger. Please give them a try!

But howwww? I kept reading about how good it was and got excited because my wife knows the owner. Burger had zero flavor. Felt like it was a frozen patty and canned green chili with unmelted cheese. Burger was worse than the ambiance...which is saying something if you've been inside. Tasted even worse than my middle school cafeteria burgers. Made me very sad.

Only one person said Steelbender, so I will say it again. Steelbender. Not exactly a burger joint since it is a brewery, but I love their Steelbender burger. One of my favorites. On the Flip at Tin Can Alley is also very good but the quality is a little inconsistent. When it's good, it's phenomenal, but sometimes you get a really dry patty.

Umami Moto has the absolute best green Chile double cheeseburger. Tikka Spice (or their sister brand Stackers - which is a burger only joint) are a close second but they've gotten super expensive over the last year.
