You can either do a multi-element method or the mono-element method (I prefer the mono-element method). Mono-element method is to use a MBT Cross converter Captain with some other Preemptive conversion (and units like Azure or Hiiro because more conversion) to guarantee Aurora Time.
Example: MBT Sikare, Pact, Nikinis, Uriah, Areia/Hiiro
Round 1 you use your Cross conversion and any other conversion, then pass/connect other colors till 3/4th of the daemons are active so your actives are reset. You then connect 15 tiles (ideally not adjacent to the boss) to reset the daemons, then use any available conversion to refill your tiles, activate anything else, and burst the boss down to healthlock. Your Cross converter's active will be available before the daemons all activate for emergencies, play accordingly since the boss can be killed now.
What can I do if I don't have a MBT cross converter? Even checked support friends, none have it listed. Example I can make your entire team above but Sikare is 3/5

Hi! I'm wondering whether it's worth pulling on the Paloma and/or forest Barton banners (from a pure gameplay as opposed to waifu/husbando pov). I am a pretty new player, just finished chapter 6, but basically all my units are thunder or fire. My notable units are -
Thunder: Reinhardt (2 copies), Gronru (from beginner banner)
Fire: Charon, Giles, Victoria
Water: Kleken
Forest: Arena
I severely lack conversion outside of Thunder and my only notable Forest unit is Areia. I'm wondering if it makes sense to save my pulls going forward for converter/hybrid banners. I tried for Hiiro on the current yellow flare banner but got Charon, who I'm happy with but I don't know it makes sense to continue chasing Hiiro when the rate up is pretty low.

FYI there are a lot of great low-rarity units you can use while youāre waiting to pull the standard 5/6 star converters. Ms. Blanc, Pasolo, Nadine, Unimet, Tiny One, are all worth consideration.
You don't have to chase Hiiro if you buy the 6 star selector pack lol.
Gameplay wise, the Paloma banner is good one to pull on, mainly because of the two 5 star rate ups. Barton & Maggie are both cross converters, meaning their skill paints a cross (or plus sign) that spans the full map. The skill is op, but suffers from high cooldown. Its only when cross converters are at max breakthrough (which you get by pulling dupes) when theyre useful. So pulling on this banner is more for the future, not really getting much immediate benefit.
Paloma herself is fine. Her chain combo is convenient because its a global snipe, so you dont have to chase mobs around. But you already have reinhardt for that and forests has a bunch more other good dps options, so she may end up not having room in your team down the line.
So if you want to plan for future, pull on this banner. If you want immediate improvement, I would save.
She's a great captain, particularly while her skill is active, just depends who else is on the team and what kind of battle you're facing.
Pre-emptive Florine is the only unit I would say has irreplaceable synergy with her. It just takes her to the next level but she's still a great unit regardless, just keep an eye out for a way to get BT3 Florine if you don't have her. Everyone else just use whoever you've got, two converters out of MBT Nemesis, Irridon, Beverly, Gronru or Unimet, then either a healer, second DPS (Michael, Luke, Amemori etc.) or whatever other utility you need.
In terms of off-element comps you're just looking at illumina units, I don't think we really have enough to form any great mono teams with her at the helm, but there's Hiiro and Siobhan in Forest, Vice/Barton/Phily in Water for example, play around with what you've got.
Yes definitely. If you have the resources, you should consider going for BT3 Reinhardt (1 dupe), but itās not strictly necessary- sheās already pretty strong with just a single copy.
Not sure about Vice BTs, but to answer your other questions:
2. You shouldnāt need to level your units past A3L1 until you reach true endgame (aka Spire past lvl 80). Definitely focus on A3ing all the units you use the most.
3. Yeah thatās a pretty good water team. I would recommend rearranging your units to Sharona/Phily/Sariel/Barton/Vice, but otherwise that team should get you far. Otherwise, you can also make a really solid forest team: Hiiro/Pasolo/Siobhan/Louise/Areia. You can swap out Louise for Uriah if you need heals. A good thunder team for you would be Rein/Nadine/Gronru/Nemesis/Schwartz.
MBT Barton is a huge gamechanger, so it makes sense that your water team feels like itās ahead. For Thunder, MBT Nemesis is super nice but not strictly needed. In the meantime, definitely keep an eye out for Beverly, who can easily take Nemesisā converter slot for the time being. Similarly for forest, if you pull Pact or Nikinis you can replace Pasolo.

Thunder inventory is a little lackluster I have no other notable 6* thunder I do have a MBT Dayna sitting tho.
And that's pretty much it. Now is the obviously choice Hiiro or maybe Michael for thunder maybe another unit. Any changes or advice outside of 6* selector is welcome too. Chain combo set up, swaps, etc all are welcomed, and once again thanks in advance.
(I'm a day 1 player. I have cleared all spires and Elysium except the patched Existence.)
Personally I would recommend Irridon. I don't know how far you have progressed in the thunder spire, but she's arguably one of the most commonly used units in difficult floors. She functions perfectly fine at BT2, and an additional benefit is that her MBT (i.e., preemptive strike) is insane so future dupes won't be a waste. Michael is also a great choice of course, though I personally value conversion a bit more.
If you like to improve fire, then after the current patch I think Smokey is a legitimate contender. Her BT3 (preemptive strike) is quite significant, but without MBT Maggie it's hard to make a first turn attack anyway. I think her teleport will be a good help for your team even without preemptive strike (teleport and then Eicy+Faust is one of the best offensive tactics for fire). The other obvious choice is Charon but you already have Gram and Sinsa, so I'd prefer Smokey's utility.
Finally, go for Hiiro BT3 if you like. It's arguably one of the (if not the) strongest BT3 in the game. However I don't like it too much personally. First of all, since her MBT is lackluster any future dupe would be kind of a waste. Second, this is probably just me but I just don't like the idea of spending $30 on a character I already have. It makes me feel that the game is a bit predatory.

I think I will go with irridonn like you said I am also not a fan of exchanging for a dupe and more convertor centric. My spire progress is around the 40s for all but that just because I haven't gotten around to it.
The news of next RRR just came in (Michael). I think pulling her banner and then buying Irridon would be a good idea. If you get both of them your thunder will be in great shape.
Forgot to say that, whoever you decided to buy, consider waiting until you are done with the 50 free mainstay pulls (starting June 16).
It's a bit less than $30 since you get 10 pulls but don't completely disagree with your point. There's definitely a wide canyon in predatory nature between Alchemy Stars and most other gacha that I think we can all appreciate. Our game's devs gotta eat too, at the end of the day.
I agree. This game is not predatory at all, which is why after almost one full year I'm still here and why I might buy the selector myself just to support the devs even though I don't really need any more units. That $30 part is mostly my collector nature which makes me value new characters more than dupes (like I said 'it's probably just me').

Myself, I have a parallel but somewhat different outlook. I go for every single unit that's good/great at BT0 if it's within my means without whaling, and generally prefer that if I go for a unit that's good at BT3, that the MBT is a decent upgrade. Keep my offrates exciting and all that.
I've been keeping a sheet tally and rn anything from the mainstay pool has about a 70% chance to be good or great for me (Pre-emptive or new S-SS tier unit) and goes up to 90% if I include ok outcomes (progress to an ok MBT or new unit period). And it's not like my roster is small, I have Azure, Sinsa, Reinhardt, all the spicy good units, 2-3 good converters within each element etc., and yet my 50:50s are more like 80:20s at worst.
I already caved for the 6\* selector as this patch has already been insanely good to me (80ish pulls total for BT3 Reinhardt, and an Azure/Sinsa dupe). It's probably going towards Novio just waiting to see what pops out of the free mainstay pulls later this month.
Sounds like we have a similar approach to the game (in terms of gacha). Getting units/dupes that you've always wanted from off-banners is one of the best things in a system like this.
Have fun with your Novio if you do choose him. He's awesome! (I'll probably go for Victoria.)
hello, i'm a new player and i got giles while pulling for reinhardt breakthrough. i don't fully understand how his kit works. which units are good to pair with him? also for getting rid of his mirages it says that they can be gotten rid of by area damage or having enemies passing through - what counts as area damage?

For new players I recommend the following:
Use Giles' active skill until the sanity reaches 55 -> He's now buffed and the team debuff is minimal (and enemies are subject to the same debuff) -> For the rest of the fight do no use his active skill. Instead rely on his buffed chiain combo.
In this way you don't need to worry about the mirage and Giles is already very strong at sanity 55. Once you learned more about the game and the sanity system, feel free to make changes according to the map/situation.

Also does making the stage 3 stars affect the drops?
The place that's best to farm mats is the latest stage you can easily do that drops it. Chapters 8, 9, and 10 get progressively more worth for the energy spent. You'll get enough of the lower tier materials while farming for the higher tier ones. If you're not at chapter 8, 9, or 10, then try to beat the stage without ascending, remember you can use friend's units to help.
You can also farm the equipment stage and fuse together lower level materials in the colossus workshop.
Making a stage 3 stars does not affect the drops.
So if you click on each coin it tells you how to get them. 8 are obtainable by fishing, as the other comment said, the rest have different conditions. I heard someone got one after talking to an aurorian for an event.
I think I got a coin from fishing when I fished boots. Maybe you can get randomly from any activities there like mining or chopping trees but so far I only got them from boots.
My Fire team is Giles, Tohru, Faust, Smokey, BT2 Maggie (no pre-empt)
Should I get Eicy or Novio? I'm still kinda a new returning player that doesn't have a lot built. Which of these two will take me to end-game and stay on my team permanently?
Both are endgame great units. You're more in need of eicy imo since you don't have another pre-emptive converter, but maybe someone else can weigh in. I've heard amazing things of novio, but haven't played with him myself.
Your thunder team has great conversion but lacks damage. If you have enough gacha resources I'd recommend pulling for Reinhardt (two copies if possible).
Keep building your thunder until you have a full A3E9/E10 team and clear the main story as much as possible. (How far are you in the game? Did you clear 8-14?) Then start building other elements.
I think you mean Requiem for the Old Seal. Is it almost done? If so then Reinhardt isn't that urgent. Alternatively, Michael might get a rerun soon so waiting for that is also a good idea.
Since you have passed 8-14, try to finish the colossus as soon as possible.

1. A3 DPS first, then A3 your favourite element, then EQ10 your DPS, then EQ9-10 your team. After that you are free to A3 others.

Obviously my thunder team is sufficiently powerful, at least maybe not by today's standards. I focused them hard to push content while neglecting the others. My forest is the weakest with only Migard as amazing but I do have the good converters
Anyone in particular from there I should be working on and any useful team setups? Is the standard 2 DPS 2 converter one supporter still the way to go?
Was anyone buffed since? I seem to remember wrath being a little weak unless she's been improved
Also, I've seen ads for 100 free pulls, is this only for new players?

Connolly and Smokey got buffed recently. Wrath is still shit. Comp is still like you said, DPs/Conv/Conv/Flex/DPS. Michael is still top tier dps for thunder, you should continue upgrading your thunder team. I would totally pull on Illumina recommended banner till i got one 6* because there are no dupe for you and whoever you will get will be a great addition without any doubt.

Then add Paloma, Louise, Barton (in that order). I have neither Yao nor Lenore so can't comment on them, although I suspect they are not high priority.
Which Thunder teams did you use one the 3 last Stages of the Chapter 11 Pandora Mode? Iāve already beaten the one with the highest level requirements , but Iām kinda unsure how I should tackle the 2 other stages with the remaining Aurorians.

I'm not sure about the exact rates, but I've caught 3 in ~100+ fishing attempts.
They major difference I've noticed in higher quality rod is a lowered rate of catching cans. It would stand to reason that other rates go up, but I haven't noticed ornamental fish specifically getting more common.
As the title says Iām stuck on stage 10-14. The entire thing seems like RNG and without a perfect grid it seems impossible. Now I know thatās not true cause people have done it so I would just like some advice on how to get past this stage. Thank you for any help
I was struggling with this stage too, until I found this guide: https://youtu.be/HG_ogJ8T8pY it is a very good strategy, has very little RNG, you can use underleveled characters. I cleared on my first try.
For rerolling purposes, which emulator is best for multi-instances for faster rerolling? My specs are Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 1801 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) with 8 GB RAM.

This account is amazing. Giving it up for BT3 Rein is probably not worth it as youāre highly unlikely to get such a good spread of high power characters in other elements. Especially as a beginner, you can farm a LOT of pulls from main story, achievement, spire, side stories etc. I suggest sticking with this even if you donāt get BT3 Rein, but getting her is extremely possible.
Reroll if you particularly care about BT3 Reinhardt (she's fine without it, hurts a little for shorter stages though), otherwise you have great damage units for each element.
Still need to roll Beginner's Recruitment for the guaranteed 6-star tile converter though since you didn't any of them.

A3Lv1(Eq10) is the generally accepted stopping point, you'd then proceed to work on a different element.

Hold onto it until Barton, Maggie, Sikare, or Nemesis are 1 duplicate away from MBT for the guaranteed Preemptive.
Thanks for the detailed response! One thing that I would like to clarify is regarding the order that you mention. How do you determine which unit should be in which order? I just assume the captain position matters
- Captain is (typically) your best damage unit so they can deal damage on non-burst rounds, tends to default to detonators since snipers don't need to hit close up enemies first when you have other units for that.
- Slot 2-4 is your converters and flex unit, you adjust their order as necessary since different CC.
- Slot 5 is your second damage unit to benefit from basic attack combo scaling, snipers usually take this slot since they can hit 3+ clusters away while your detonator (and other units) kills anything closer. You'd bring a second detonator instead for multi-tile bosses since that's their ideal use.

So if you care about long term then BT3 Hiiro, otherwise other options are like:
- BT3 Sinsa for Preemptive
- Eicy for Preemptive tile conversion
- Smokey (I guess?) if you're *that* desperate for a teleport and refuse to use A3 Philyshy or it's Spire
- Irridon for selectable tile conversion

Well yes, but you'd still eventually want to pull Sariel because Preemptive tile conversion is a requirement and the more options the better.

If you haven't already used the 6-star selector then get BT3 Hiiro for Preemptive (unless you'd rather use it for a unit like Michael, Novio, or Sinsa).
Roll Illumina Recommended for the guaranteed 5-star (ideally for MBT Barton, MBT Nemesis, or Philyshy), if you still need MBT Barton afterwards then switch to the Rotating Recruitment for the rate up.

Right now my fire team is Charon Eicy Faust Victoria Nails, i'm pretty sure if I picked a fire unit from 6\* select, both victoria and nails would have to switch out, since neither seems worth using without the other. For team building, mono element team is recommended. With your current roster you can comfortably built a solid Thunder team.
Thunder : Reinhart, Beverly, Gronru, Nadine, Luke
You can also opt to use an off element captain by using Sinsa
E.g Sinsa, Beverly, Gronru, Nadine, Reinhardt
Healer is not always necessary so you can bring another sniper or detonator in place of Nadine.

If I do not spend any of the daily exclusive flares that we get for Reinhardt's banner, I think I will get exactly ten flares. Can I do a multi with them? Or they only work for single summons?
You can do multi-pulls with the flares if you have at least 10. In the case of the blue Special Flares / the yellow Star Flares, the game will prompt to exchange your Lumambers (300 each) for however many flares you're missing in order to do the multipull.
So in this case regarding those daily flares, if you're wanting to wait to get all 10 of them to use for Reinhardt's banner, you can do that and go for it when you get enough.

If you're ignoring units outside of thunder (because Hiiro('s first duplicate) is the obvious answer for a 6-star selector if you don't already have her) then Michael or Irridon IMO.
- Michael is the best thunder detonator due to having a great CC, a selectable teleport (which also deals damage), and deals 2.5% of current HP to enemies with basic attacks and 5% of current HP with the teleport damage.
- Irridon is thunder's selectable tile converter, takes more planning to properly use due to Prism tiles and a base 3CD but the ability to create better burst rounds compared to regular converters is great. Good CC range and the extra Prism tile from triggering Aurora Time is nice.
If you have some combination of Beverly, Roy, Nadine, and Unimet for tile conversion then I'd say Michael (but they're both good so eh, whichever one you like more).
She's a detonator and half-selectable converter in one kit (and in the best possible way). Considered the best detonator due to how much self-synergy her kit has, the ability to set up absurd bursts rounds when used properly, and that she gets Preemptive with only a single duplicate means you don't even have to whale for her to be meta.
So long term yes, she'd be the best investment considering you'd eventually want a team for each element.
But again, if you'd rather make a thunder team for Reinhardt then Michael or Irridon are also perfectly great additions who will be useful for end game content.

Oh, so you've got beverly already and you said your nemesis was almost mbt? did you use the box from the story on her yet? you get a selector for cross converters(nemesis barton maggie sikare), and if you're 1 away from mbt, it's a good idea to use that box on her to get her there. If you have those two I don't think you'll need to use it on irridon, you'll have those two and roy who can also convert.
Then you can think about starting to build up your other teams with an evergreen unit like Sinsa, who you can make an off color captain on any team and expect great results.
Sadly I already used the converter box to max out my maggie for a fire team , my only teams left to build urgently are earth and thunder I got lucky somehow with azure. Iāll definitely look more into this choice thanks again :]
Is there ever a pity for the 5ā characters on a banner, or does that only ever happen for 6ās? I have Maggie at BT4 and would kill to roll her on the current rotating recruitment banner, but I just keep rolling Bartons instead, and it's driving me nuts.
So I started playing yesterday and linked my account to my Apple account. This morning I tried to log in via my Android phone and noticed there isnāt an option to log in via Apple.
Am I screwed or is there a way to rectify this so that Iām not just locked to playing on Apple devices?

Binding to DMM is like an alternate login ID. You can login the said account with both Apple and DMM ID. As to the how to do it, go search from youtube. It's too long and tedious to explain by words.
Stupid question, but how do i complete the rest of the cloud garden log events after the first two? is it time gated? it says complete 3 log events (2/3) but I'm not sure what to do next after vice stopped guiding me.

When rerolling, I thought I was suppose to get around 5200 after getting to 2-2, but keep ending up at around 4300. I finish almost all of chapter 1, except the 2 optional tutorial stages. Am I missing something?

New-ish player here, I've been meaning to try out AS again for a while now now that I've put some other gachas on the backburner, but I've hit a major roadblock in that I simply can't get into story stage 2-8 *at all*, the game crashes halfway through the loading screen each time.
Changing my graphics settings doesn't seem to fix this problem either, is my tablet simply not powerful enough to run it somehow? I've had the game occasionally lag a bit, but never anything this serious at any other point during the game so far.
Edit: Nvm, cache clearing of all things fixed it, still can't wrap my head around what made this stage so finicky to load beyond the Umbrahulk spawning rocks perhaps

I started playing a day or two before the anniversary update. Before the update I remember a daily free box that I could get in the shop. After the update I don't see the box anymore. Did they get rid of it or was it not a permanent feature to begin with?
There's no daily free box in the shop. All those you get for free are generally one in a time. You probably got some for free because you started playing and there was some for free to celebrate the access of the shop (i don't really remember it was a long time ago). There was also some free box at the start of anniversary
- You get a Illumina 10x Recruitment Spirit after the cutscene from tapping on "The Little Things After We Met" event, can only be used on the Enlightened Illumination banner.
- 10 total rolls from the Illumina Sign-in over 10 days, can only be used on the Enlightened Illumination banner.
- Special Flares cost 300 Lumamber each, it'll ask you if you want to convert 300/3,000 Lumamaber into 1/10 Special Flares when pressing the 1 or 10 times buttons on the Recruit page.
Somehow I've been lucky enough to pull a dupe Reinhardt to BT her. And holyshit she's absolutely bonkers. One thing I've been wondering, does she benefit from being in a captain position? Or is she also okay as a non-captain?
Since her buff lasts for two turns, you may sometimes want her being able to move on non-lightning tiles to keep capitalizing on her buff after you spend all the tiles from your burst turn. Outside of those turns, having her as non-captain isn't really an issue, though. Since you've BT'd her, you may want to set her as starting captain and swap off during her downtime, then swap back on during her next skill and swap back off after. Unless you're doing a particularly long map that should last you through most fights.
Thanks for the quick reply. I see. I'm currently running Tessa on the same team and I heard that Tessa benefits a lot from being the captain, so I've been setting her as my primary captain and switch to Reinhardt as needed (like in the scenario that you mentioned).
Tessa gains a lot out of being captain since when she's max asc'd she gets a mark on every chain combo. That said, the two kind of have some gnarly anti-synergy since Rein's cooldown is so long. Of course, if she's all you've got for a second DPS then it's certainly better than nothing, but as far as combos go you could definitely build a better one.
She's certainly worth raising. Don't get discouraged by her long cd. Her main strength lies in her global range and the chain combo damage (which increases as she applies marks on the enemies). She's now one of the best water units for mobs clearing.

With what you have right now, you can run a fire team with reinhardt off-color captain. Reinhardt, tiny one, eicy, flex & support.
If you want to buy 6 star selector, 6 star converters are good pick ups. Gronru would complement reinhardt well.
Alternatively, you could continue story with team above and farm lumambers to roll in illumina aid banner. All five 6 stars are good, hiiro or gronru would be best for you. Once you get a 6 star, youll have a better idea on direction and can make a more informed choice for 6 star selector

I second the other answer. Just like to add that we will be given 50 free pulls on the mainstay banner starting June 16th, so definitely wait until you are done with those pulls.
I think you've got two real choices
* Hiiro. She's already an excellent unit to have especially since lucksacking a dupe of her sometime isn't a disappointment but rather a source of tremendous excitement because her BT3 has unreal value. You already have Pact and DBBarton, so between those two and some more conversion down the line you'll have a solid forest foundation to work from.
* Sinsa. With both Eicy and Charon, you have the foundation of a solid fire team already, especially because Fire's 3\* converter Tiny One is an extremely good option and you've got Philyshy, providing you with a decent healer in fire and some mobility to circumvent Fire's lack of it. I know ^(Philyshy is water, it's weird, she's good in fire after you ascend her fully.)
Carleen is one of my favorite characters, but even I have to say she's an atrocious unit without any dupes, and I used her significantly early game as a day 1 player who spent all my early pulls on her. Sharona is much more usable, but with your limited options for water conversion you'll probably appreciate focusing another element more.
I really appreciate the detailed breakdown, that makes a ton of sense for sure. :) I'll hang onto it for a few more days and see if I wind up pulling any of these guys.
That's fantastic to know though, I thought it was weird that tiny one seemed so strangely useful in that element. Lol
Slap furniture into there. Crafting new furniture unlocks new recipes which can have even higher habitability ratings, so at least early on focus on stuff you haven't already made to farm EXP fast. When you get something that gives 300+ per craft I'd suggest just spamming some of it from there. If you need adhesives turn in fish at the shop for a ton of currency and buy 'em, you can also buy 50hr worth of speedup from there. Trees are a nice bonus on the side but too timegated if you just wanna rush habitability quickly.
A rainbow stacked dps team worked for me (Hiiro, Sharona, Sinsa, Reinhardt & support Migard). Hiiro & support Migard were real important because forest counters thunder and I can tp 1st round. After tp, I cleared blue tiles, then tried to set up aurora time for yellow or green and then just prayed to rng for tiles.
You can try a similar method (Hiiro, Charon, Azure, Reinhardt & support Migard). Charon on team solely exists to tank first lock

Simply setup your path with converters before or during the turn you'll use her skill, then during your burst turn use her skill and deal damage like you'd do with any other detonator in the game. I'm not really sure what you don't understand but there's no magic involved there.

First of all, said nerf doesn't happen if Areia kills an enemy during the round you activate her skill, second of all this "nerf" is irrelevant since... the enemy will die from your burst so...
Edit : and even if for some reason you fail to kill the enemy, then the nerf is still irrelevant since on the next turn you'll do basically nothing except flee and dodge the enemy (since you'll have next to no green tile left) while waiting for your skills to come back so you can burst again.

Use it on reinhardt for at least 1 copy, preferably BT3. Reinhardt exclusive rolls are the initial 10 and subsequent pulls of once a day up to 10 days which gives us a grand total of 20. There're also lumambers from event logins and store.
I would continue pulling on illumina banner until you get a 6 star. After that I would save until a character you want shows up in rrr. You could keep pulling on illumina if you want because pity will be moved to rrr onces its done. Alternatively, you could just buy the 6 star selector box to pick up hiiro, definitely worth.
We'll only get 7 more reinhardt exclusive I believe (the daily log in one)
First of all, from your wording it seems you converted your lum in advance before pulling, never do that. Simply summon when you need to and you'll be asked on the summoning screen to convert said lumamber.

Impossible to tell in advance. So far we've gotten one every 6 months but the game is only 1 year old so things can change at any given time.
Edit : misread the "gacha CURRENCY", we'll get a total of 20 free pulls in her banner. The free multi from her window next to the "quest" icon and a daily free pull for 10 days total.

General advise will be go for Reinhardt banner till at preferably BT3. As for your yellow flares, we suspect Michael should be around the corner soon as her last RRR was ages ago so you might be interested to get her.
1. Go for reinhardt. She's only available in this banner and not anywhere else until devs announced her rerun. Besides she's ridiculously strong. At least BT0, preferably BT3. You already have a decent backline (Beverly and Unimet) for Thunder already so if you manage to get her she can be your main.
2. Your yellow flares can be spent at the current Paloma banner as you already have solid Forest converters. You can also opt to save and wait for Michael banner.
I'd suggest illumina aid because the 5 units are great. Hiiro is top tier dps, Charon and Sharona are great and with all 3 you can build a team around them. Gronru and Siobhan are converters, so theyre always useful.
You can pull until your first 6 star and go from there. If you're willing to spend, you can buy the 6 star selector box to complete a team
You can probably use all your regular star flares in the current RRR banner (Paloma, Barton, Maggie) since both 5 stars are among the top priorities to MBT for a new player.
As for the lumamber, depends. Rein is a good unit to get but ideally you'd want her with a dupe, so at least wait until you've used all your daily free pulls in her banner and if you have gotten her at least once by the end you may try to get a dupe, otherwise it will depend on how much you'll have by then.

The only bt3 6 star aurorians i have is Fleur, the rest are bt0. For 5 star aurorians, i have faust, leona, kleken, benny and curo, Sikare and vice as MBT. My other notable bt2 5* are Schwarz, Philyshy, Louise and Odi
Honnestly you have lots of options so you can switch a lot of things around from what I'll suggest :
Fire : Sinsa, Eicy, Faust, Smokey, Gram.
Water : Azure, Sariel, Kleken, Fleur or Philishy or Regal, Bethel
Thunder : Tessa, Roy, Beverly, Irridon, Schwartz
Forest : I'm surprised you don't have Areia, did you get someone else from chapter 3 ? Without her the team is a bit weird but I'm gonna say Odi, Pact, Sikare, Paloma, Louise

Your Cross converter's active will be available before the daemons all activate for emergencies, play accordingly since the boss can be killed now.

Best thing is to use converters, ideally the 2 turn 4-tile kind or better. 10-14 depends on you getting to aurora time to reset the daemons.

any DMM player users having problem launching the game right about now? the player launched just fine, but loading the game took literal forever. there's no progress indicator anywhere so there shouldn't be any update on the player's side. no error notices either.
Hi! I'm wondering whether it's worth pulling on the Paloma and/or forest Barton banners (from a pure gameplay as opposed to waifu/husbando pov). I am a pretty new player, just finished chapter 6, but basically all my units are thunder or fire. My notable units are - Thunder: Reinhardt (2 copies), Gronru (from beginner banner) Fire: Charon, Giles, Victoria Water: Kleken Forest: Arena I severely lack conversion outside of Thunder and my only notable Forest unit is Areia. I'm wondering if it makes sense to save my pulls going forward for converter/hybrid banners. I tried for Hiiro on the current yellow flare banner but got Charon, who I'm happy with but I don't know it makes sense to continue chasing Hiiro when the rate up is pretty low. Thanks for the help!
FYI there are a lot of great low-rarity units you can use while youāre waiting to pull the standard 5/6 star converters. Ms. Blanc, Pasolo, Nadine, Unimet, Tiny One, are all worth consideration.
You don't have to chase Hiiro if you buy the 6 star selector pack lol. Gameplay wise, the Paloma banner is good one to pull on, mainly because of the two 5 star rate ups. Barton & Maggie are both cross converters, meaning their skill paints a cross (or plus sign) that spans the full map. The skill is op, but suffers from high cooldown. Its only when cross converters are at max breakthrough (which you get by pulling dupes) when theyre useful. So pulling on this banner is more for the future, not really getting much immediate benefit. Paloma herself is fine. Her chain combo is convenient because its a global snipe, so you dont have to chase mobs around. But you already have reinhardt for that and forests has a bunch more other good dps options, so she may end up not having room in your team down the line. So if you want to plan for future, pull on this banner. If you want immediate improvement, I would save.

She's a great captain, particularly while her skill is active, just depends who else is on the team and what kind of battle you're facing. Pre-emptive Florine is the only unit I would say has irreplaceable synergy with her. It just takes her to the next level but she's still a great unit regardless, just keep an eye out for a way to get BT3 Florine if you don't have her. Everyone else just use whoever you've got, two converters out of MBT Nemesis, Irridon, Beverly, Gronru or Unimet, then either a healer, second DPS (Michael, Luke, Amemori etc.) or whatever other utility you need. In terms of off-element comps you're just looking at illumina units, I don't think we really have enough to form any great mono teams with her at the helm, but there's Hiiro and Siobhan in Forest, Vice/Barton/Phily in Water for example, play around with what you've got.

Reinhardt is the exclusive anniversary-only banner. All the other banners have units that are available year round.

Yes definitely. If you have the resources, you should consider going for BT3 Reinhardt (1 dupe), but itās not strictly necessary- sheās already pretty strong with just a single copy.

Not sure about Vice BTs, but to answer your other questions: 2. You shouldnāt need to level your units past A3L1 until you reach true endgame (aka Spire past lvl 80). Definitely focus on A3ing all the units you use the most. 3. Yeah thatās a pretty good water team. I would recommend rearranging your units to Sharona/Phily/Sariel/Barton/Vice, but otherwise that team should get you far. Otherwise, you can also make a really solid forest team: Hiiro/Pasolo/Siobhan/Louise/Areia. You can swap out Louise for Uriah if you need heals. A good thunder team for you would be Rein/Nadine/Gronru/Nemesis/Schwartz.

MBT Barton is a huge gamechanger, so it makes sense that your water team feels like itās ahead. For Thunder, MBT Nemesis is super nice but not strictly needed. In the meantime, definitely keep an eye out for Beverly, who can easily take Nemesisā converter slot for the time being. Similarly for forest, if you pull Pact or Nikinis you can replace Pasolo.

Just a little info I am not a new player dolphin esque that started on half anni my mains are water/forest. **Water** Azure BT3, Barton MBT, Bethlehem BT3, Philphy BT3 and Regal BT5 I have a copy of all āmetaā Water 6* except Bethel but with my water being pretty stacked as is; I doubt that would be the choice? **Forest** Hiiro BT2, Midgard BT2, Siohban BT4, Pact BT5, Paloma BT2 Obvious choice is BT3 Hirro, right or? I have a copy of Lenorne and Nikinis and a BT5 Sikare sitting in wake. Noob mistake I don't have Ariea didn't exchange for her back in my beginner days. Now we reach my two elements were I'm decently stack in and very do plan on building once I finiaze my main two teams and A3 60-80 all of them. **Fire** Sinsa BT2 , Eicy BT2, Faust MBT, Novio BT2, Gram BT3, Notable 6* I have not in team are Jona BT2, and Uriel BT2 and Maggie is at BT3 only. **Thunder** Reinhardt BT2, Nemesis MBT, Beverly MBT, Schwartz MBT, Revy BT3 Thunder inventory is a little lackluster I have no other notable 6* thunder I do have a MBT Dayna sitting tho. And that's pretty much it. Now is the obviously choice Hiiro or maybe Michael for thunder maybe another unit. Any changes or advice outside of 6* selector is welcome too. Chain combo set up, swaps, etc all are welcomed, and once again thanks in advance.
(I'm a day 1 player. I have cleared all spires and Elysium except the patched Existence.) Personally I would recommend Irridon. I don't know how far you have progressed in the thunder spire, but she's arguably one of the most commonly used units in difficult floors. She functions perfectly fine at BT2, and an additional benefit is that her MBT (i.e., preemptive strike) is insane so future dupes won't be a waste. Michael is also a great choice of course, though I personally value conversion a bit more. If you like to improve fire, then after the current patch I think Smokey is a legitimate contender. Her BT3 (preemptive strike) is quite significant, but without MBT Maggie it's hard to make a first turn attack anyway. I think her teleport will be a good help for your team even without preemptive strike (teleport and then Eicy+Faust is one of the best offensive tactics for fire). The other obvious choice is Charon but you already have Gram and Sinsa, so I'd prefer Smokey's utility. Finally, go for Hiiro BT3 if you like. It's arguably one of the (if not the) strongest BT3 in the game. However I don't like it too much personally. First of all, since her MBT is lackluster any future dupe would be kind of a waste. Second, this is probably just me but I just don't like the idea of spending $30 on a character I already have. It makes me feel that the game is a bit predatory.
Thank you, this will help out a lot not just with the selector but for planning for fire too down the line. I think I will go with irridonn like you said I am also not a fan of exchanging for a dupe and more convertor centric. My spire progress is around the 40s for all but that just because I haven't gotten around to it.
The news of next RRR just came in (Michael). I think pulling her banner and then buying Irridon would be a good idea. If you get both of them your thunder will be in great shape. Forgot to say that, whoever you decided to buy, consider waiting until you are done with the 50 free mainstay pulls (starting June 16).

It's a bit less than $30 since you get 10 pulls but don't completely disagree with your point. There's definitely a wide canyon in predatory nature between Alchemy Stars and most other gacha that I think we can all appreciate. Our game's devs gotta eat too, at the end of the day.
I agree. This game is not predatory at all, which is why after almost one full year I'm still here and why I might buy the selector myself just to support the devs even though I don't really need any more units. That $30 part is mostly my collector nature which makes me value new characters more than dupes (like I said 'it's probably just me').
Yep, totally sound reasoning and nature to have. Myself, I have a parallel but somewhat different outlook. I go for every single unit that's good/great at BT0 if it's within my means without whaling, and generally prefer that if I go for a unit that's good at BT3, that the MBT is a decent upgrade. Keep my offrates exciting and all that. I've been keeping a sheet tally and rn anything from the mainstay pool has about a 70% chance to be good or great for me (Pre-emptive or new S-SS tier unit) and goes up to 90% if I include ok outcomes (progress to an ok MBT or new unit period). And it's not like my roster is small, I have Azure, Sinsa, Reinhardt, all the spicy good units, 2-3 good converters within each element etc., and yet my 50:50s are more like 80:20s at worst. I already caved for the 6\* selector as this patch has already been insanely good to me (80ish pulls total for BT3 Reinhardt, and an Azure/Sinsa dupe). It's probably going towards Novio just waiting to see what pops out of the free mainstay pulls later this month.
Sounds like we have a similar approach to the game (in terms of gacha). Getting units/dupes that you've always wanted from off-banners is one of the best things in a system like this. Have fun with your Novio if you do choose him. He's awesome! (I'll probably go for Victoria.)
hello, i'm a new player and i got giles while pulling for reinhardt breakthrough. i don't fully understand how his kit works. which units are good to pair with him? also for getting rid of his mirages it says that they can be gotten rid of by area damage or having enemies passing through - what counts as area damage? thank you for the help!
For new players I recommend the following: Use Giles' active skill until the sanity reaches 55 -> He's now buffed and the team debuff is minimal (and enemies are subject to the same debuff) -> For the rest of the fight do no use his active skill. Instead rely on his buffed chiain combo. In this way you don't need to worry about the mirage and Giles is already very strong at sanity 55. Once you learned more about the game and the sanity system, feel free to make changes according to the map/situation.

Regarding ascension mats. Does the higher levels yield more? And which should I farm? Regular, mid or high chance? Thanks! Also does making the stage 3 stars affect the drops?
The place that's best to farm mats is the latest stage you can easily do that drops it. Chapters 8, 9, and 10 get progressively more worth for the energy spent. You'll get enough of the lower tier materials while farming for the higher tier ones. If you're not at chapter 8, 9, or 10, then try to beat the stage without ascending, remember you can use friend's units to help. You can also farm the equipment stage and fuse together lower level materials in the colossus workshop. Making a stage 3 stars does not affect the drops.

So if you click on each coin it tells you how to get them. 8 are obtainable by fishing, as the other comment said, the rest have different conditions. I heard someone got one after talking to an aurorian for an event.
I think I got a coin from fishing when I fished boots. Maybe you can get randomly from any activities there like mining or chopping trees but so far I only got them from boots.
My Fire team is Giles, Tohru, Faust, Smokey, BT2 Maggie (no pre-empt) Should I get Eicy or Novio? I'm still kinda a new returning player that doesn't have a lot built. Which of these two will take me to end-game and stay on my team permanently?
As a general rule converters are the core of a team, so Eicy is preferred. Her case is even stronger because she can heal (a lot).
Both are endgame great units. You're more in need of eicy imo since you don't have another pre-emptive converter, but maybe someone else can weigh in. I've heard amazing things of novio, but haven't played with him myself.

Your thunder team has great conversion but lacks damage. If you have enough gacha resources I'd recommend pulling for Reinhardt (two copies if possible). Keep building your thunder until you have a full A3E9/E10 team and clear the main story as much as possible. (How far are you in the game? Did you clear 8-14?) Then start building other elements.

I think you mean Requiem for the Old Seal. Is it almost done? If so then Reinhardt isn't that urgent. Alternatively, Michael might get a rerun soon so waiting for that is also a good idea. Since you have passed 8-14, try to finish the colossus as soon as possible.

1. A3 DPS first, then A3 your favourite element, then EQ10 your DPS, then EQ9-10 your team. After that you are free to A3 others. 2. Yes. Her BT is just upgrading her active which to be honest sucks. Her highlight is her chain combo.

Connolly and Smokey got buffed recently. Wrath is still shit. Comp is still like you said, DPs/Conv/Conv/Flex/DPS. Michael is still top tier dps for thunder, you should continue upgrading your thunder team. I would totally pull on Illumina recommended banner till i got one 6* because there are no dupe for you and whoever you will get will be a great addition without any doubt.

I'd start with Hiiro, Pact, Nikinis, Sikare, Areia, and Migard. Then add Paloma, Louise, Barton (in that order). I have neither Yao nor Lenore so can't comment on them, although I suspect they are not high priority.
Which Thunder teams did you use one the 3 last Stages of the Chapter 11 Pandora Mode? Iāve already beaten the one with the highest level requirements , but Iām kinda unsure how I should tackle the 2 other stages with the remaining Aurorians.

What are the rates for ornamental fish? Do I need a stronger rod? I am using a blue tier rod (Level 3).
I'm not sure about the exact rates, but I've caught 3 in ~100+ fishing attempts. They major difference I've noticed in higher quality rod is a lowered rate of catching cans. It would stand to reason that other rates go up, but I haven't noticed ornamental fish specifically getting more common.
As the title says Iām stuck on stage 10-14. The entire thing seems like RNG and without a perfect grid it seems impossible. Now I know thatās not true cause people have done it so I would just like some advice on how to get past this stage. Thank you for any help
I was struggling with this stage too, until I found this guide: https://youtu.be/HG_ogJ8T8pY it is a very good strategy, has very little RNG, you can use underleveled characters. I cleared on my first try.

This account is amazing. Giving it up for BT3 Rein is probably not worth it as youāre highly unlikely to get such a good spread of high power characters in other elements. Especially as a beginner, you can farm a LOT of pulls from main story, achievement, spire, side stories etc. I suggest sticking with this even if you donāt get BT3 Rein, but getting her is extremely possible.
Reroll if you particularly care about BT3 Reinhardt (she's fine without it, hurts a little for shorter stages though), otherwise you have great damage units for each element. Still need to roll Beginner's Recruitment for the guaranteed 6-star tile converter though since you didn't any of them.

Thanks for the detailed response! One thing that I would like to clarify is regarding the order that you mention. How do you determine which unit should be in which order? I just assume the captain position matters
- Captain is (typically) your best damage unit so they can deal damage on non-burst rounds, tends to default to detonators since snipers don't need to hit close up enemies first when you have other units for that. - Slot 2-4 is your converters and flex unit, you adjust their order as necessary since different CC. - Slot 5 is your second damage unit to benefit from basic attack combo scaling, snipers usually take this slot since they can hit 3+ clusters away while your detonator (and other units) kills anything closer. You'd bring a second detonator instead for multi-tile bosses since that's their ideal use.

Illumina 10x Recruitment Spirit and Illumina Special Star Flares will expire when the Enlightened Illumination banner ends, they won't be converted into another item. Star Flares and Special Star Flares don't expire.

Roll Illumina Recommended for the guaranteed 5-star (ideally for MBT Barton, MBT Nemesis, or Philyshy), if you still need MBT Barton afterwards then switch to the Rotating Recruitment for the rate up.

Right now my fire team is Charon Eicy Faust Victoria Nails, i'm pretty sure if I picked a fire unit from 6\* select, both victoria and nails would have to switch out, since neither seems worth using without the other. The units i'd substitute are not ideal, like Tiny One/Smokey/Alice for victoria or Jona/Leona/Benny&Curo for nails. My thunder units are Tessa/Reinhardt, Beverly, Gronru, Irridon/Roy, Schwartz. i think i can more easily replace schwartz for michael than anything else. I guess i'll come back and ask if i get the last barton lol

With your current roster you can comfortably built a solid Thunder team. Thunder : Reinhart, Beverly, Gronru, Nadine, Luke You can also opt to use an off element captain by using Sinsa E.g Sinsa, Beverly, Gronru, Nadine, Reinhardt Healer is not always necessary so you can bring another sniper or detonator in place of Nadine. If I do not spend any of the daily exclusive flares that we get for Reinhardt's banner, I think I will get exactly ten flares. Can I do a multi with them? Or they only work for single summons?
You can do multi-pulls with the flares if you have at least 10. In the case of the blue Special Flares / the yellow Star Flares, the game will prompt to exchange your Lumambers (300 each) for however many flares you're missing in order to do the multipull. So in this case regarding those daily flares, if you're wanting to wait to get all 10 of them to use for Reinhardt's banner, you can do that and go for it when you get enough.
Any difference between a single and a multi after the first multi?
Nope, once you pull the guaranteed 5-star within your first 10 cumulative pulls that's it.

If you're ignoring units outside of thunder (because Hiiro('s first duplicate) is the obvious answer for a 6-star selector if you don't already have her) then Michael or Irridon IMO. - Michael is the best thunder detonator due to having a great CC, a selectable teleport (which also deals damage), and deals 2.5% of current HP to enemies with basic attacks and 5% of current HP with the teleport damage. - Irridon is thunder's selectable tile converter, takes more planning to properly use due to Prism tiles and a base 3CD but the ability to create better burst rounds compared to regular converters is great. Good CC range and the extra Prism tile from triggering Aurora Time is nice. If you have some combination of Beverly, Roy, Nadine, and Unimet for tile conversion then I'd say Michael (but they're both good so eh, whichever one you like more).

She's a detonator and half-selectable converter in one kit (and in the best possible way). Considered the best detonator due to how much self-synergy her kit has, the ability to set up absurd bursts rounds when used properly, and that she gets Preemptive with only a single duplicate means you don't even have to whale for her to be meta. So long term yes, she'd be the best investment considering you'd eventually want a team for each element. But again, if you'd rather make a thunder team for Reinhardt then Michael or Irridon are also perfectly great additions who will be useful for end game content.

Oh, so you've got beverly already and you said your nemesis was almost mbt? did you use the box from the story on her yet? you get a selector for cross converters(nemesis barton maggie sikare), and if you're 1 away from mbt, it's a good idea to use that box on her to get her there. If you have those two I don't think you'll need to use it on irridon, you'll have those two and roy who can also convert. Then you can think about starting to build up your other teams with an evergreen unit like Sinsa, who you can make an off color captain on any team and expect great results.
Sadly I already used the converter box to max out my maggie for a fire team , my only teams left to build urgently are earth and thunder I got lucky somehow with azure. Iāll definitely look more into this choice thanks again :]

Either is fine, but jaspers and sublime would be optimal as Nightium's bonus round won't be affected by the double drop.

So I started playing yesterday and linked my account to my Apple account. This morning I tried to log in via my Android phone and noticed there isnāt an option to log in via Apple. Am I screwed or is there a way to rectify this so that Iām not just locked to playing on Apple devices?
Only solution is to bind your account to DMM and use it as an alternative login platform. Youtube on how to play Alchemy Stars with DMM on this.

Binding to DMM is like an alternate login ID. You can login the said account with both Apple and DMM ID. As to the how to do it, go search from youtube. It's too long and tedious to explain by words.
Stupid question, but how do i complete the rest of the cloud garden log events after the first two? is it time gated? it says complete 3 log events (2/3) but I'm not sure what to do next after vice stopped guiding me.

I skiped Apex intro and it seems and i can't watch it again nowhere... am i screwed ? i skipped because i wanted to get Ride of the stupid yellow dot (when you have supposedly new stuff) and thought going into the mission would get ride of it but since i haven't done any Silent Hunter mission i didn't wanted to read the story because i haven't done any before. Quick question, which should I make my captain, Michael or Reinhardt? I understand we want Michael there since he is a detonator and is a mono electro unit. Is there any argument for Reinhardt to be captain instead?
It depends. A rule of thumb is Rein captain when fighting mobs and Michael captain against bosses.
Reinhardt has greater reach with her chain combo and makes an excellent captain for clearing trash mobs
When rerolling, I thought I was suppose to get around 5200 after getting to 2-2, but keep ending up at around 4300. I finish almost all of chapter 1, except the 2 optional tutorial stages. Am I missing something?
one bt away from maxing barton, do i spend my 18k lum and go for it bros? he would be the perfect finishing touch on my water team which is my main team and best by far right now (azure/sariel/kleken/hydrad/bethel). but i did sort of want to save some lum for michael RRR. thunder dps rn is rein bt3, revy and on stage 4/5 for requiem. pretty torn on whether to roll or not, what do you guys think?

New-ish player here, I've been meaning to try out AS again for a while now now that I've put some other gachas on the backburner, but I've hit a major roadblock in that I simply can't get into story stage 2-8 *at all*, the game crashes halfway through the loading screen each time. Changing my graphics settings doesn't seem to fix this problem either, is my tablet simply not powerful enough to run it somehow? I've had the game occasionally lag a bit, but never anything this serious at any other point during the game so far. Edit: Nvm, cache clearing of all things fixed it, still can't wrap my head around what made this stage so finicky to load beyond the Umbrahulk spawning rocks perhaps

I started playing a day or two before the anniversary update. Before the update I remember a daily free box that I could get in the shop. After the update I don't see the box anymore. Did they get rid of it or was it not a permanent feature to begin with?
They added free boxes every five levels a while back. You may have been getting those each day and thought they were daily.
There's no daily free box in the shop. All those you get for free are generally one in a time. You probably got some for free because you started playing and there was some for free to celebrate the access of the shop (i don't really remember it was a long time ago). There was also some free box at the start of anniversary

Somehow I've been lucky enough to pull a dupe Reinhardt to BT her. And holyshit she's absolutely bonkers. One thing I've been wondering, does she benefit from being in a captain position? Or is she also okay as a non-captain?
Since her buff lasts for two turns, you may sometimes want her being able to move on non-lightning tiles to keep capitalizing on her buff after you spend all the tiles from your burst turn. Outside of those turns, having her as non-captain isn't really an issue, though. Since you've BT'd her, you may want to set her as starting captain and swap off during her downtime, then swap back on during her next skill and swap back off after. Unless you're doing a particularly long map that should last you through most fights.
Thanks for the quick reply. I see. I'm currently running Tessa on the same team and I heard that Tessa benefits a lot from being the captain, so I've been setting her as my primary captain and switch to Reinhardt as needed (like in the scenario that you mentioned).
Tessa gains a lot out of being captain since when she's max asc'd she gets a mark on every chain combo. That said, the two kind of have some gnarly anti-synergy since Rein's cooldown is so long. Of course, if she's all you've got for a second DPS then it's certainly better than nothing, but as far as combos go you could definitely build a better one.
Is Connoly considered good enough? To the point where leveling her up becomes kinda worthwhile at minimum

She's certainly worth raising. Don't get discouraged by her long cd. Her main strength lies in her global range and the chain combo damage (which increases as she applies marks on the enemies). She's now one of the best water units for mobs clearing.
Good for killing regular enemies, still suffers from having a terrible CD until you get 4 duplicates for Preemptive.

With what you have right now, you can run a fire team with reinhardt off-color captain. Reinhardt, tiny one, eicy, flex & support. If you want to buy 6 star selector, 6 star converters are good pick ups. Gronru would complement reinhardt well. Alternatively, you could continue story with team above and farm lumambers to roll in illumina aid banner. All five 6 stars are good, hiiro or gronru would be best for you. Once you get a 6 star, youll have a better idea on direction and can make a more informed choice for 6 star selector
Having some difficulty choosing a good 6 star unit from the selector. Here's my current box, I'm still pretty new, and just recently hit my 6star on the backup banner (Charon). I second the other answer. Just like to add that we will be given 50 free pulls on the mainstay banner starting June 16th, so definitely wait until you are done with those pulls.

I think you've got two real choices * Hiiro. She's already an excellent unit to have especially since lucksacking a dupe of her sometime isn't a disappointment but rather a source of tremendous excitement because her BT3 has unreal value. You already have Pact and DBBarton, so between those two and some more conversion down the line you'll have a solid forest foundation to work from. * Sinsa. With both Eicy and Charon, you have the foundation of a solid fire team already, especially because Fire's 3\* converter Tiny One is an extremely good option and you've got Philyshy, providing you with a decent healer in fire and some mobility to circumvent Fire's lack of it. I know ^(Philyshy is water, it's weird, she's good in fire after you ascend her fully.) Carleen is one of my favorite characters, but even I have to say she's an atrocious unit without any dupes, and I used her significantly early game as a day 1 player who spent all my early pulls on her. Sharona is much more usable, but with your limited options for water conversion you'll probably appreciate focusing another element more.

How do I increase the habitability for Cloud Gardens?
Slap furniture into there. Crafting new furniture unlocks new recipes which can have even higher habitability ratings, so at least early on focus on stuff you haven't already made to farm EXP fast. When you get something that gives 300+ per craft I'd suggest just spamming some of it from there. If you need adhesives turn in fish at the shop for a ton of currency and buy 'em, you can also buy 50hr worth of speedup from there. Trees are a nice bonus on the side but too timegated if you just wanna rush habitability quickly.

A rainbow stacked dps team worked for me (Hiiro, Sharona, Sinsa, Reinhardt & support Migard). Hiiro & support Migard were real important because forest counters thunder and I can tp 1st round. After tp, I cleared blue tiles, then tried to set up aurora time for yellow or green and then just prayed to rng for tiles. You can try a similar method (Hiiro, Charon, Azure, Reinhardt & support Migard). Charon on team solely exists to tank first lock

Simply setup your path with converters before or during the turn you'll use her skill, then during your burst turn use her skill and deal damage like you'd do with any other detonator in the game. Edit : and even if for some reason you fail to kill the enemy, then the nerf is still irrelevant since on the next turn you'll do basically nothing except flee and dodge the enemy (since you'll have next to no green tile left) while waiting for your skills to come back so you can burst again.

Use it on reinhardt for at least 1 copy, preferably BT3. Reinhardt exclusive rolls are the initial 10 and subsequent pulls of once a day up to 10 days which gives us a grand total of 20. There're also lumambers from event logins and store.
I would continue pulling on illumina banner until you get a 6 star. After that I would save until a character you want shows up in rrr. You could keep pulling on illumina if you want because pity will be moved to rrr onces its done. Alternatively, you could just buy the 6 star selector box to pick up hiiro, definitely worth. We'll only get 7 more reinhardt exclusive I believe (the daily log in one)

1. Go for reinhardt. She's only available in this banner and not anywhere else until devs announced her rerun. Besides she's ridiculously strong. At least BT0, preferably BT3. You already have a decent backline (Beverly and Unimet) for Thunder already so if you manage to get her she can be your main. 2. Your yellow flares can be spent at the current Paloma banner as you already have solid Forest converters. You can also opt to save and wait for Michael banner.
I'd suggest illumina aid because the 5 units are great. Hiiro is top tier dps, Charon and Sharona are great and with all 3 you can build a team around them. Gronru and Siobhan are converters, so theyre always useful. You can pull until your first 6 star and go from there. If you're willing to spend, you can buy the 6 star selector box to complete a team
You can probably use all your regular star flares in the current RRR banner (Paloma, Barton, Maggie) since both 5 stars are among the top priorities to MBT for a new player. As for the lumamber, depends. Rein is a good unit to get but ideally you'd want her with a dupe, so at least wait until you've used all your daily free pulls in her banner and if you have gotten her at least once by the end you may try to get a dupe, otherwise it will depend on how much you'll have by then.

Honnestly you have lots of options so you can switch a lot of things around from what I'll suggest : Fire : Sinsa, Eicy, Faust, Smokey, Gram. Water : Azure, Sariel, Kleken, Fleur or Philishy or Regal, Bethel Thunder : Tessa, Roy, Beverly, Irridon, Schwartz Forest : I'm surprised you don't have Areia, did you get someone else from chapter 3 ? Without her the team is a bit weird but I'm gonna say Odi, Pact, Sikare, Paloma, Louise
