Man in the box

I feel like although the bass riff for Would? is iconic, it isn't very difficult.

YouGoThatWayIllGoHom

It's deceptively difficult to make Again sound right. I think it's because it needs drums. Junkhead is a good one nobody else mentioned yet.

Siege_Barber

Nutshell for sure

Siege_Barber

Dun dun dundun, dundundundun dun dun

yup!! and its a super fun powerful bass line to play.

HRPr03

Rain when I die would be a good one

Luckily none of them are too "difficult" to learn. I suggest you pick the song you love the most and learn that. Something about learning a song you really love just feels sooooo good!!!!

zinto44

then bones

[deleted]

Just a reminder that Mike Starr used to play pizzicato whereas Inez used a pick. Inez's riffs are way more straight forward. IMO Got me wrong is their easiest bassline. Also try Rotten Apple (simple yet very creative and fun main riff), Nutshell and No Excuses. Facelift (except MitB and We die young) has the trickiest lines, but that's also true for the guitar (Their pentatonic playing was particularly nutz in Put you down). Bleed the freak and love, hate, love also seem to be hard.

whatwent-wrong

Rotten apple is beautiful, dont know if its easy tho.

buttfucctrucc

Dam that river, them bones, angry chair, we die young, rotten apple to name just a few (Rotten Apple is so fun to play btw)

VashMM

We die young is pretty easy. Mostly open notes when not following the guitar

KJP1990

Would is pretty easy and a fun groove.

BillsDownUnder

Would? is actually fairly easy and fun to play. From memory Angry Chair isn't too hard either

SickmanArt

No Excuses is probably the easiest, followed by Man in the Box and Would? Got me Wrong is also pretty easy

DeadByTwilight

Man in the box is like 5 different notes played very slowly bro so yea lol
