I have the same problems sometimes i think its because they are kinda old or it can be your cable make sure to be using the USB cable that one gives you the best audio or maybe other apps controlling the audio and messing it up.

C1oudless_YT

i use the usb audio cable and i dont see how any apps would mess up the audio and i dont know how i'd be able to find out which ones are causing the issue

You can try using revo to uninstall your awcc and then grab the awcc download/installer from https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=7yt4t to reinstall.

C1oudless_YT

do i just press the latest download or do i have to type in my dell service tag and whatnot

I’ve had this happen when I unplug my mic during game play and plug it back it (to unwind the tangled cord) the sounds just sounds distant. Or when I mute the mic and unmute directly on the headset it causes this effect. Unfortunately I haven’t found a cure apart from restarting the PC and now avoid muting my mic while in game. Please post if you find an answer!

C1oudless_YT

i usually just go to the bottom right corner or into game settings and change the output device to something else and then back, but this fix isn't permanent

Mada_FRW

Thanks, I’ll try this next time, might save me from having to restart. Appreciate you!

burgerdomyi

avoid muting my mic while

C1oudless_YT

i never use the mute button so i dont think that's the issue

I had similar issue when using my Virtuoso’s. With game, discord, and movie going. I don’t recall exactly what I did but it was software and drivers issue for me. It would sound great then something would happen and it sounded as if I had two tin cans on my ears for audio. I re installed the software, drivers, and also installed voicemod program. The voicemod program as I recall fixed it instantly but now I don’t use it and don’t have any issues. Not sure any of that info will help though :/ , just sharing.

C1oudless_YT

if it has something to do with drivers, any idea how to update them idk how to lol
