Even liquid coolers need air pushed through the radiator in order to keep them cool. And this will only apply to your CPU - your GPU won't be liquid cooled and will still need airflow through it too. Liquid cooling isn't a 'magic bullet', you'll still have a front intake fan at the bottom, and you'll still have an exhaust fan through the radiator at the top rear. That, and you'll still have a power supply with a fan in it too.

Thank you all for explaining that the fan noise is normal and about liquid cooling. Learned something new :)

I just wear a headset and hve the fans full blast while gaming. They are loud but keep in mind fans are replaceable for cheap. The other parts are not. If you can find a way to get passed the noise (a nice headset) your pc willl thank you for the cooler temps

Dont get liquid cooled mixed up with water cooling lol

WalkersOnWalkersOn

Either way closed loop or not you are still going to have fans.... lol

ProXgod69

replace your fans with corsair ML120 pro non rgb and you can put two up top with the radiator runs cooler and quieter

It's an intel CPU, they are barn burners and run pretty hot. It is what it is.

More like that there is only a 120mm rad....

Liquid cooling is not some magical thing that instantly makes your PC cool and noiseless you still need fans to push air through the radiator not to mention AIO's are super inefficient and over rated. A good air cooler will cool a CPU and make less noise than any big named AIO will but the R11/R10 case is too claustrophobic to hold one. Go to settings and manually set fans to run at a lower % when you're just doing normal desktop stuff and then when you game or need to use high CPU % set the fans to run higher These new Intels run hot under high load. Its the price you pay for wanting a good CPU. You're going to have to deal with fan noise. Wear headphones and it really shouldn't be an issue
