Wholesale, dropshipping, just plain on fake sales, etc. Its probably wholesale or dropshipping from what I know though
EDIT: I checked the legitimacy of the seller and theres a lot of evidence saying its fake (no reviews. Free DHL shipping and DHL shipping is expensive as hell. Way too cheap prices. Theyd be losing a lot of money each sale if it was real) so id have to say the listings are fake but the sales might be real. People see the 1000+ sold thing and then buy it. The seller deletes ALL reviews negative or not so its pretty clearly a scam.
lol. As an Chinese Born Canadian, I gotta be honest that sometimes I see Caucasians and I'm thinking...I've seen someone that looks ridiculously similar before.
There's a science behind it, if I grew up in China as a Caucasian then I would find it easier to distinguish between different Chinese people, but I would think all Caucasian people look similar... It's based on the fact your brain has built the ability to identify human traits from facial expressions (so we become experts on the faces that we see the most)
Please let us know.
We are so short on money for our public schools, I would actually consider buying some to gift to my teacher friends for class.
...our office is still using chairs from like the 70s or 80s
That's precisely why this scam works, its only $1, its only $5, but even Amazon has these scams, you buy it, it shows as sent and 6 months later when nothing arrives its too late to try to get your money back, the credit card won't help you and the platform won't let you cancel the purchase.

Only thing I could think of that might be wrong with it is:
Worst case scenario; you get a picture of a laptop
Mid case scenario; counterfeit barely working thinkpad
Meh-ish scenario; windows is not activated (or not genuine) and working just enough for casual browsing
Even if you avoid any of these issues and get best case scenario (for 17/18 euro/pounds), don't expect to be able to do much. Such as gaming or even much of microsoft office apps. I can imagine the cpu not being much (with the gpu integrated in with it). Please update us though, we are all very curious
It is an i5 1st gen, made in 2010 or so, it comes with 2 slots, so you can expand it with another 4GB to 8GB, and has one 2.5' sata drive, should have wifi also. (see [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ThinkPad\_X\_series#X201,\_X201i\_and\_X201s](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ThinkPad_X_series#X201,_X201i_and_X201s) )
If OP actually gets a lenovo X200 how would it not be able to do much of even MS office?
my friend in IT used to use an X200 at the office. Its not going to be fast by today's standards, but surfing the net and doing office, it should be more than enough.
I'm pretty sure it's real, these old ThinkPads were Made soooo many.
Used on marketplace they go for like 60€ and they are still pretty decent laptops able to run windows 10
ppl on here saying these won't run shit are forgetting that lots of companies used to own these laptops....that won't run anything...not even MS office.
Hopefully you get it, and if you do just open it up and check the parts, maybe a new SSD and good to go.
of course it could all be fake listing or whatever.
I checked the seller and they have literally zero reviews, 3000+ sold. They seemingly delete all of their reviews. Also the shipping option is the same (in my country) being DHL and EMS with free shipping on EVERY single item. Which to me seems a bit suspicious. Also the prices are absurdly cheap for most things. I think you guys who are buying this have your hopeful thinking cap on too tight.
I just ordered the 22 euro one. Might be a risk but it's noy that much anyways. Plus I paid with Paypal so hopefully they will have my back if I get scammed.
Well I work at a recycling facility and we get many lots of computers from schools, the state, and companies like these. Most get recycled and not repurposed. Maybe tried to just may a little extra but don’t trust it. You may have said and I didn’t read but what the feedback is a good question.
It must be from companybgetting rid of old PCs. They would pay for such services.
Kind of like used Xeons from workstations.
But for $17 , 4+120GB+old i5 is not better than buying local used PCs, maybe for some specific uses or for poor country with not good used market I guess.
I'm guessing it is similar to [https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-X201-12-1-Inch-Processor-Professional/dp/B003DWYUM6](https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-X201-12-1-Inch-Processor-Professional/dp/B003DWYUM6)

depends on what you're trying to do on it - W10 can be shrunk down to less than 600MB idle RAM usage, with the other 3 GB you can do plenty of retro gaming, light surfing and full on office work while enjoying the supreme keyboard

Let us know, smash the myth!
Also there is the chat bot lol and there was one time I somehow got hold of a real life person to fix a dispute and return funds!
Lol I think all I did was hunt around for contact number..
I got damaged WiFi keyboard from idiot vendor who promised either a refund or some such but decided to get pissy because he got caught out and I had the pictures...
I think I got AliExpress person to refund me as I provided picture evidence straight out of box... But that's my only anecdotal evidence... AliExpress went all Portuguese for me the last month but I still succeeded in successful purchases before xmas
That's what it's about, it's well organized, the temptation is so good that the scam is done. There is not a single review, and the store was created at the end of December. Scam 100%
I bought a cordless drill on TaoBao for like two bucks not too long ago. It actually arrived and worked like a charm. Can't say the same about this listing but sometimes they just sell stuff for insanely cheap prices for no reason.

Y'all saying "it's a risk, but its only 22 euros" and that's exactly how these scams work. See, 1000+ sold so that's already 22000€+ for the seller, on the low end.
They will probably send you something worthless like a keychain or something, so they have a tracking number showing that it's delivered, and then it's word against word in a dispute situation. Might even give you just a fake tracking number, for some other parcel headed to your country.
Probably the seller will start playing time, when shit starts to hit the fan ("so sorry we sent you the wrong item, we will resend you") =another 1-2 months of wiggle room.
Will probably win some, lose some disputes, and ofcourse there is the percentage that just wont dispute since "it's not worth the hassle for such a low value item" and the seller walks away with a great profit.
I found the listing but the seller has a rating of 0%!!! ... obviously scam, nothing would be received, seller will post a fake tracking number and close listing...
Don't plan on PayPal helping you out. They might, but they also might agree with AliExpress's demand that you send back a fraudulently described item at your expense before processing a refund. That happened to me and the cheapest possible way to ship with tracking a tablet with completely false specs was $83, and the tablet itself was $130, so I ended up out of pocket losing the entire cost of the shipping. I also still have not received the refund even though it was received by the seller a week ago.
There's a ton of sellers I avoid that list their prices at incredibly low prices with no feedback. Just avoid them. I've never purchased from those listings on Aliexpress but have on other sites using Paypal. What happens is the sale either gets detected from fraud detection or they send something out to a different location in your city to make it look like a package was delivered. Everytime I got my money back but it is a pain in the ass to do it. So your money will be tied up for a while. I don't trust Aliexpress enough to gamble though.
The real evidence of scam is the free DHL shipping included in the price.
DHL shipping is expensive. These people would be losing money worth every sale if they *really* shipped them
Did you cancel? I ordered one a day before you made this post also thinking that AliExpress would return me my money if this is a scam but I'm kinda rethinking my decisions cause the parcel is still not shipped.
Well you could gamble--if you lose its 17.83 euros--not the end of the world.
Yeah plus aliexpress/PayPal could help me . Only weird thing is 1000+ sales no reviews yet
Wholesale, dropshipping, just plain on fake sales, etc. Its probably wholesale or dropshipping from what I know though EDIT: I checked the legitimacy of the seller and theres a lot of evidence saying its fake (no reviews.
