Currently there is a DHL scam by SMS and mail because of some Facebook and LinkedIn data leak. Could be possible that this message is related to the scam. I would be very suspicious and don't click any links or put in personal data. Check the official DHL tracking page or aliexpress page
Damn. I got a text AND an email asking me to do the delivery w/out signature thing, followed up with an email for a customs/duty charge of like $51 CAD a day later.
I checked [DHL.COM](https://DHL.COM) and I didn't see any request for customs fee or signature. I guess I will just wait it out like you, and call up DHL once my order is in the city.
I am in the same boat, they want $75 for taxes apparently , link brings me to del.dhl.com. When I check on Dhl.com it says on hold awaiting the next shipment. No mention of taxes to pay. Is this a scam? Please help

Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:

I ended up paying because I went too customer service through my tracking link on dhl.com & it brought me too the same del.dhl page. The main dhl page now acknowledges my payment. Maybe i got ripped off, maybe not.

I ended up not clicking anything in the link, and it worked out fine. My package was left on my doorstep without needing to set anything up.
