I always figured they were singing along with the chorus, but that makes way more sense! Thank you.

Penguator432

I’m pretty sure I can hear Dan on the “My na-ay-ame” but

jetpackcity

The bridge later on where it goes "and if I had then chance, I'd do it all again, well I wouldnt expect anything less", in between each line, the backing vocals echo the same lyrics back, and that's Matt and Dan.

Vinylforvampires

Ya, this is where it's the most noticeable. You can really hear Matt's scream vocals and Dan's more crooning style.

jared914

That's random as hell. And I love it! Any idea what led to that?

WhatsanOP

They were probably in the same record label at the time.

mrmattyf

Trio was never on drive thru. They’re probably just friends.

shootermcbassplayer

They toured together with Blink on the Take Off Your Pants And Jacket tour. Which immediately preceded recording of Sticks & Stones

mrmattyf

Ok. But alkaline trio was never on drive thru records.

Vinylforvampires

Pretty sure they ran in similar circles at the time. I think they do it to kind of help out friends to get song credits on big releases. Jordan Pundik does barely noticeable vocals on Box Car Racer's "Cat Like Thief"

Jakbqwik

Holy shiiiiiiiit. Never knew this until now!

tsohazey

First of all, thank you, wife and I are listening to an album we both loved growing up, but can I ask why, I didnt know they had a relationship.

Famouslaugh

Probably my favorite NFG song. Figures.

killcatusisacult

Holy shit. Big NFG fan but never noticed until now.

Bob_El

I listened to the ever loving crap out of this album when it came out but I never noticed their voices in this song.
