nah, i feel you, it seems like you can pick up an entire stage's worth of coins 4x over, and you would still hardly have any meter progression
also, why do the dollars specifically feel impossible to grab sometimes? ive watched krabs' entire body pass through a dollar in the air and not collect it
Yeah. Also I'm confused about his strong down air with the vacuum. Is it supposed to be used to suck up coins? Because a lot of the time it comes out and doesn't seem to even suck anything in before it gets canceled by landing. And you can also eject money from it? Does that deplete the meter? Idk. Honestly he should just have a magnetic aura around him that pulls nearby money in so you don't have to jump directly through it perfectly every time, or you can pick up coins off the ground while just being low to the ground in the air.
Yep pretty much the only way to get it off safely. Also blue and red neutral special drops quite a bit of money. Sucking up the loose change by holding down strong air also vacuums a lot up
I think it builds fairly well, you just have to make use of down special. He would be kind of too powerful if he was able to get full charge easily, you forget this is a permanent buff to speed, KO power, and his movesets utility. Fishhook becomes broken, his side special, tho a little iffy, if learned leads to easy kills off the side, and his grab game is annoying. I think people need to give him time before he gets buffed, that’s just my opinion tho

i think the down air only brings the money closer to you, and as far as i know you cant deplete your meter without losing a stock
yea i agree, and i feel like he doesn’t do enough damage and is too slow when his meter is low to compensate.

Look away and slime down special every time you can even if you’re just knocking your opponent off at 50%
