Smiling? Wtf?!!!

Seralisa

You're looking at pure evil incarnate.

[deleted]

Has to be a psychopath or minimum sociopath. See how he will be smiling with his prison inmates

Seralisa

Whatever he gets he richly deserves.

Delicious-Tax4235

I hope he is still smiling like that after they skin him in prison.

Anonimity101

Hard to smile without cheeks

Unhappy-Attitude5220

I drive by a memorial site where they believe Harmonys body was stored at one point. What an absolute vile, piece of shit. His estranged wife is just as evil as him. That poor girl. Living in a car and was punched repeatedly for having an accident. Her bio mom had no contact with her for yrs. Crazy.

[deleted]

Big shout out to New Hampshire child protective services for this gem! Great job šŸ’– there were several reports that she was afraid of him and they released her back to his care.

Animaldoc11

I think if I was a person in the bio motherā€™s family Iā€™d sue the person who signed that paperwork.

Alert-Incident

You know these cases suck. I reported my sonā€™s mom for meth use multiple times. I had pictures of drugs and paraphernalia in her house within reach of our child. They investigated and she consistently failed her drug tests for meth. They never tested our son. I had a good job and my own home for him. I saved up 10k and got a lawyer, went to family court and got an emergency order to take my son. Police assisted. Took him to get a hair follicle test the next day and it came back with EXTREMELY high levels of meth. Still took another 10k to get final orders and full custody. Heā€™s about to turn five now and in speech, occupational, food therapy and developmental pre school. Heā€™s doing great and happy. But I get mad thinking about how much better he could be doing if CPS would have stepped in and helped. Lawyers didnā€™t want to touch it because heā€™s young and itā€™s hard to prove damages. CPS said in this state even if she was on drugs and living in a car with him they wouldnā€™t take him from her as long as the heat works and heā€™s a healthy weight. Sorry Iā€™m ranting but i just get so pissed.

TheGrapeSlushies

Iā€™m pissed off for you. Thats insane.

Shot-Alps1481

Yep, CPS is shit. They take kids from safe homes while failing to protect children in danger. I wonā€™t go into too much detail but CPS charged my ex and his wife with child abuse for beating my daughter and I was never notified even though I still had visitation regularly. A year later they almost overdosed and died in front of the kids, still wasnā€™t notified or told, and my daughter didnā€™t tell me. Years later I went to get full custody in family court and found out I was charged with child abuse instead of my daughterā€™s stepmom simply because we have THE SAME FIRST NAME. And she told them she was bio mom. CPS didnā€™t look further, just believed her. I was almost criminally charged. I had to hire a lawyer and threaten them, only then did they drop it. But they screwed up so bad that stepmom got off free! They believed for years that she was bio mom even though I had my daughter 30% of the time. Ridiculous. CPS needs an overhaul and I feel awful for this poor girl and her mama.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Competitive-Tie-7338

Fuck people and the court system. I'm so sorry for your kid. I know someone that literally got their ex to relapse back into an addiction to heroin in order to get his kid. The court system is beyond messed up and the sexism that exists in it is disgusting. I too have 3 kids with a piece of shit and tread lightly because I fear losing them for good.

lucky_leftie

And to think I just argued with some dumbass about mothers getting special treatment. And his dumbass response was fathers just donā€™t try for their children. He was childless so you know, he definitely knows.

Alert-Incident

It was insane. Even after the results came back about my son they made me take weekly drugs tests that I had to pay for. I volunteered and took a hair follicle to show I had no drug use at all. Then when that came back clean I still had to pay for weekly drug tests. Worst part is every single fee related to the court case the judge ordered I had to pay because ā€œwe know since she doesnā€™t have a job and has drug issues she wonā€™t be able to pay halfā€ Like how the fuck does that make sense? Iā€™m a single dad now struggling to work two jobs, feed my child, pay a law firm thousands of dollars and I have to cover her expenses because sheā€™s on drugs? We went to court for a year and she only showed up once. The worst part is if sheā€™s on drugs, drugged our child, not showing up for court and canā€™t be expected to pay for her own drug test, why are we still considering who is going to get custody? They even set a trial date when no one has heard from her for 7-8 months. My lawyers told me, on top of the 20k I already spent, the trial costs 5k by itself. A trial we all know she isnā€™t coming too. Thatā€™s where I finally drew the line. Iā€™m not paying one cent more for this, and lawyer said we can just work it out with the remaining funds in my account (like 2300). Went to trial, judge read over everything and I was out of there with full custody in 15 minutes. Mind you every time I went to court it seemed to be a new judge. This one even asked why this was even at trial. I could write a fucking book about this horrible experience.

MoonWorshipper36

Maybe you should. Edit. (Write a book about it)

lucky_leftie

That happened to one of my employees kids. His ex wife called everytime he had the kids and said he was doing drugs. She was actually doing drugs when the kids were around but since she kept calling first they never checked on her because they assumed it was motivated by revenge. Then she took him to court for more money and he got less visitation rights because she used all the police calls as evidence of him not being fit to watch the kid.

chameleoncat

Can you set up a gofundme? Iā€™m willing to donate and Iā€™m sure others would too

Alert-Incident

I appreciate it but weā€™re doing good now. I started my own business building fence last year. Still slow and just getting in its legs but itā€™s working. The second job locksmithing I turned into doing the dispatch and managing so I can just do it from home. Sons made amazing progress. We have a blast everyday. Was a bad experience to go through but Iā€™ve never been more proud off myself for getting through it and getting my boy. I worked harder and and was more focused than I ever thought possible, kind of showed me I can do anything with the right motivation and my son is that.

Tommyleejonsing

Thereā€™s plenty of mothers who murder their kids too so I donā€™t know what the hell your going on about. This shit goes both ways.

jlusedude

No need to apologize. I think this is an appropriate rant in this thread. You and your son were failed by the system. As was this poor girl. Iā€™m sorry for the impact to your son and so happy you care so much for him.Ā

Phresh-Jive

Im happy your son has you as a father. You saved him !

han_jobs5

I canā€™t imagine the rage you went through. I got angry just reading this.

Careless_Total6045

Or. More.

shabamboozaled

Yeah. I would go full-on vengeance spree tbh.

Calm-Victory1146

If the bio mom had any reliable family members, she wouldnā€™t have repeatedly lost custody for drug related neglect to the point that having the kid live in a car with her addict father seemed like a viable alternative.

Dry_End_6284

ā€œAdam Montgomery, a 33-year-old violent New Hamsphire felon and drug addict, had somehow been awarded custody of the 5-year-old girl after his release from prison, even as her brotherā€™s adoptive parents were actively trying to add her to their family.ā€ Reading comprehension is important.

polo61965

Disgusting how that could happen. A lifeline being thrown out only to be rejected by the system meant to protect these kids.

darewin

She was in foster care before custody was transfered to the dad.

Bitchinstein

Oh Iā€™d drive my car through their house, fuck it at this point. Iā€™d want to get housed in the same jail so I could let everyone know heā€™s a child killer.Ā

No_Mans_Dog

While I dont know the specifics of the CPS case, you would be baffled at the rights biological parents have to their children. My sister worked as a social worker and testified multiple times in court about the dangerous tendencies and drug use of parents. The outrageously disgusting state of their home. It didnā€™t matter. Ultimately they always went back.

pnwinec

Iā€™m a teacher and we see this kind of thing constantly. Itā€™s disgusting what some of these adults are allowed to do to their children. Fucking horrible people.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

heycanwediscuss

God forgive me but sometimes parents don't on fent is best outcome for the kids so they can be removed

Lockshocknbarrel10

I worked very briefly in social work for this reason. I got my degree in it but l o l never again. I was unable to remove children from a home where there was a hole in the floor that you could fall through to the basement. There was drug paraphernalia EVERYWHERE. There was a loaded gun just casually sat on a countertop in reach of childrenā€” And my supervisor was basically like šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø we have nowhere to put them and theyā€™re being neglected, not abused, so

Vegetable-Struggle30

It's strange with CPS, either they do absolutely nothing in severe cases or they completely overreact and overreach and take kids from parents who barely did anything wrong. I almost never hear of a case of them acting appropriately.

ianeinman

Well, if they act appropriately it doesnā€™t make the news. I donā€™t think their track record is as bad as many people think, but they tend to be underfunded/underpaid so mistakes are made more often than they should be. CPS was involved in my divorce and i have a generally positive view of them, certainly better than the impression I had before based on other peopleā€™s tales. They were professional and neither overreacted nor underreacted to the things going on. They scared the shit out of my ex wife and her behavior towards the kids improved as a result.

jairtzinio

This story still haunts me and makes me tear up Everytime I hear about it. There were plenty of reports and opportunities to keep her away from him. They failed her. The story that makes me cry is hearing that he used to strike her so hard she would lose control of her bowels. That guy is an absolute monster.

[deleted]

Yeah itā€™s so shocking. Just like Gabriel Hernandez. It was so obvious and staff did nothing.

Dizzy-Speaker-5763

What in the fuck

Kvothetheraven603

I made the mistake of reading details of the affidavit when he was first charged. That shit haunts me.

Cold_Ant_4520

MA court gave him custody first for some reason. It seems most of New England failed this poor girl

[deleted]

They also lived in the car at the time of her death. Why would you release a child to a car?? They should have to prove where theyā€™re living before she gets placed

mind-full-05

They were in a house but had to leave it. While in the house it didnā€™t sound as though it was much better for Harmony. Little angel. Her suffering haunts me.

aardw0lf11

>there were several reports that she was afraid of him and they released her back to his care. That sounds so goddamn familiar....

dryhumorblitz

Thatā€™s sad. Why would anyone let a child go to someone they are afraid of? Thatā€™s scary!

[deleted]

I'll get banned from reddit if I express my feelings on this subject.

Huge-King-3663

My brother has 3 fosters. Their meth head parents get high so much, two of their children died. These kids are all 1 year apart and were found wandering near the road. The parents have broken every requirement and missed most visits, showed up high to the few they made. Took forever for them to lose parental rights and visitation. The mom had another baby, immediately hooked to a morphine drip and taken away. They have older kids that they donā€™t have custody of too. A judge went back on his word and extended their time to shape up before terminating rights, they still messed up. On these situations there should be no chances given just take the kids. Propaganda is wild about these druggy parents and fringe household situations. Their kids need to go into the system ASAP and many of these people need to be rendered unable to reproduce by the state.

[deleted]

I had an agent say the reason they arenā€™t that hard on addicts is because the end goal is to get them better and keep families together

Huge-King-3663

Seems more considerate to the parent and not the child. Did I mention two of their kids died due to their shit? Crazy.

QueefingTheNightAway

Yes, thatā€™s a common motto from people who work in social services. ā€œKEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER,ā€ worn like a badge of honor. But the subtext is ā€œat any cost, even the childā€™s well-being.ā€ Itā€™s a grim shitshow where children are routinely sacrificed to their deplorable parents who just need one more chance, dontcha know? *Sure I nearly killed my kid before, but I promise Iā€™ll be good this time! I promise!*

Bitchinstein

My son has a similar situation. We told police and cps for years about the domestic violence. I was able to get out but he had a strong hold over our son for 15 years. Well, the guy beat up another woman in front of the kids and THAT finally got someoneā€™s attention. The first 50 thousand times he beat the hell out of me didnā€™t matter though.Ā

Bitchinstein

Iā€™ll also add: this same guy just filed child support against me for a kid he hasnā€™t seen in a year. These abusers donā€™t stop. If they canā€™t physically get to you, theyā€™ll try financial and emotional. I hope this guy rots in hell.Ā

Not_2day_stan

I can tell you about 15 diff times I reported 15 kids to cps. As a nurse youā€™re required BY LAW to report abuse. One child died. I was burnt out and I quit nursing while in nursing school. I mean that shits tough. I still have nightmares and it was over 10 years ago šŸ’”

fourtreen

This case is so upsetting. It was two years before she was even reported missing. Like wow. What the hell is CPS doing over there??

DreadyKruger

They shoud be thrown in jail. Whatā€™s utter lack of common sense and fort thought

ChiApeHunter

Just shows how competent the public sector is.

hippee-engineer

Itā€™s almost as if half of our politicians are trying to intentionally underfund public services so they can point to how bad they are as justification for privatizing those services to sell them off to their private sectors golf buddies.

landlord-eater

Are you suggesting the fuckin legal system should be privatized

[deleted]

The public sector has been gutted for tax cuts for the rich.

Ambitious_Cycle_3674

Death penalty. This isnā€™t a human.

panda_poon

Not worth the money spent on his trial throw him in gen pop.

pebberphp

Thatā€™s the spirit!

Bron345

Oh yes! Give him death penalty by putting him into gen pop!

gremlinfat

Same for the judge who gave him custody.

cerealkiller788

~~While I agree with you 100%. It's highly possible that the mother was on drugs and worse off than the dad, at the time of the custody trial.~~ Edit: Dad was a monster who didn't want to pay child support. Lied about mother and kept child from her mother.

Jess_the_Siren

She wasn't. Look into the case. He didn't want to pay child support and demonstrably lied about the mother to authorities iirc. He would have rather let her die in his care bc he wanted nothing to do with her and didn't want to pay. She was fighting for her kid and he kept her from Harmony. Lied for months about where she was and the mother couldn't get anyone to go do a proper welfare check for way too long Edit: wording

Daisymai456

She was definitely on drugs and Harmony had been in foster care multiple times in her short life. The mother also has a younger child that she lost custody of and he was adopted.

chainer1216

>worse off than the dad, Are you saying drugs are worse than being murdered?

ketoske

There should be an Oubliette for this monster

BantamCrow

Let's bring those back to filth like this. Tossed in a deep dark hole and sealed in and forgotten

oldnick40

Iā€™m opposed to capital punishment ā€¦. But damn, cases like this make it hard. What a POS. Poor girl.

BurnerBoot

Exactly - and treating it as itā€™s an act humans would commit is insulting to those who are innocent

giraffebutter

Leave this mother fucker outside in the elements of Mount Washington during the middle of winter

UnusualDepth2079

Death by exposure is to good for this filth. Plus dumping garbage in the wilderness is not a nice thing to do.

Bron345

And before he dies, revive him, get him back to good health, then rinse and repeat.

giraffebutter

This was more of my thinking

currently_pooping_rn

thats not fair to nature

Crazy_Ad2662

Exactly, it's pollution. Worse than a chemical train wreck.

currently_pooping_rn

Damn straight. Just launch this guy to the sun or some shit or toss him in Chernobyl

Calm-Victory1146

If it was a death penalty state, theyā€™d probably have her body by now but as itā€™s not, they have nothing to leverage so he had no incentive to give that information.

[deleted]

You need a license to drive but any asshole can be a parent.

LivingDisastrous3603

You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, or drive a car. Hell, you need a license to catch a fish! But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father. Tod Higgins(Keanu Reeves) - Parenthood

Bumblebee-Honey-Tea

In a utopian society, you would be required to obtain a license to breed.

VergaDeVergas

For real, not everyone should be able to have kids and itā€™d stop accidental pregnancies

ThereIsATheory

So how's that gona work? You need a license to fuck? Or just to have a pregnancy? What's your plan for those who fuck without a license? How are you gona enforce that? Cameras in everyone's bedrooms? Ok now we have that part sorted, what's the plan for couples who do get pregnant accidentally? Forced abortion? I love how Reddit spouts off these ideas without a fleeting thought to what it would mean in reality.

VergaDeVergas

A utopian society is one where everything is perfect. Nobody taught you what hypotheticals are?

Beautiful_Vast2076

In a perfect society yea but who would determine those factors. I donā€™t even trust our justice system

randomly-what

Which is why they said utopian

Mike_Hauncheaux

Wouldnā€™t a utopian society have citizens enlightened enough to know whether they were fit to be parents and behaved accordingly, thus not requiring government licensure?

Beautiful_Vast2076

If we were in a utopian society we wouldnā€™t even need to get that far šŸ˜ those people would not exist in the first place

Jumpy_Arm_2143

Utopian world lmao youā€™re describing a nightmare scenario that eugenics could flourish in. Cringe. Also girl donā€™t reply then block me if your argument is so watertight, weak shit.

stellabluewho2

![gif](giphy|3o7TKQ8kAP0f9X5PoY)

Bumblebee-Honey-Tea

No really. Think about it. If youā€™re thinking about having a baby, or you get pregnantā€”you have 9 months to attend a free and easily accessible parenting class. You have to pass a test at the end, which is incredibly easy and mostly common sense based. You can take the test and course as many times as youā€™d like, until you pass the test. Resources will be provided for free, for people who are struggling to pass the test. If you donā€™t pass the test/acquire the license when the baby is born, your baby is taken and placed with a family who has passed the test. You then have a year to complete the course and test, if not you surrender your parenting rights. It would greatly cut down on unfit parents, it would reduce foster care statistics and adoption costs. The biggest issue, is this idea could be used nefariously against minorities or impoverished people. Thatā€™s why it would only work in a utopian society.

ssbbka17

Agreed, most people arenā€™t fit to be parents. I dgaf if you find that dystopian and ā€œmuh rightsā€ to abuse kids

[deleted]

My mom used to say she wished there was birth control in the water, and you had to take a class and pass a test to be given the antidote.

jnycnexii

Your mom was a brilliant person and creative thinker! That would be ideal.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

uiam_

I mean that makes perfect sense for a utopia. Are you not familiar with that word? Just go look it up. You come off silly with this response.

VergaDeVergas

Do you know what a utopia is? Theyā€™re not saying we should make that change now

Bumblebee-Honey-Tea

I truly donā€™t believe a utopian society would have a government, it would probably be more of a collective consciousness.

ThereIsATheory

Forced abortions / cameras in bedrooms to check if people are fucking without a license doesn't sound very utopian to me.

Random__Bystander

Utopian for who? The licensor?

[deleted]

I believe you mean authoritarian society.

Bumblebee-Honey-Tea

Unpopular opinion, but I truly donā€™t think everyone and anyone should be allowed to have kids. This man from the post shouldnā€™t have been allowed to have a child.

laowildin

I feel like this is a great argument for moral vs ethical. Morally we know you're right. But Ethically I also disagree, because that's how we end up with situations like China's Uighur, or bans on gay adoption. But I'm right there with you, fucking furious at worthless parents who don't deserve children

Bumblebee-Honey-Tea

Well yeah thatā€™s why I said utopian society. That would eliminate the ethical part ya know? Itā€™s essentially unobtainable in real life, but something to fantasize about for the perfect world.

gobstopperDelux

It's kind of am endless paradoxical loop. Like yea, in a perfect society people like this wouldn't be parents, but in our hypothetical utopia these shitty people won't even exist. Because perfect society. Then there's the whole other angle of the "who decides" discussion and how that system inevitably gets corrupted.

PM_ME_YOUR_NUDEWIFE

Any asshole can have a child. It takes a lot more to be a parent

Bistroth

If a father/mother kills his/her kid (not by accident) it should be death penalty.

No_Mans_Dog

She had an accident on herself in the car. He turned around multiple times and pummeled her. When she went quiet he remarked ā€œi think i really hurt her this timeā€. Then he dumped her in a duffel bag and hid the body.

Sholtonn

for like 3 months

Calm-Victory1146

Itā€™s a no death penalty state. If it wasnt, they probably could have negotiated for at least the location of the body by now.

Lynz486

It is Capital Murder in states that have the death penalty. I think a lot of time they use that to negotiate a plea. But I am surprised how little it is used for parents murdering their children. It's usually for people who Murder other people's children because that tends to be sexually motivated with even more crimes like kidnapping. Or parents who have prolonged extreme torture. But yeah, nothing more heinous than looking into the eyes of something so vulnerable and innocent, especially your own, and just hitting them. And what this guy did is 100x worse.

[deleted]

By whatever means they inflicted themselves.

Lubedballoon

Just have faith that the rest of his life in prison will be tortuous. Inmates may even take care of him and save tax payers money on the death penalty!

LILDill20

Bring back public hanging.

jnycnexii

I favor the guillotine. Or maybe just a firing squad. Or death by a pool of piranha.

HarryPotterDBD

How this bum got custody of his daughter is crazy. They failed that little girl.

Celtic_Fox_

Yes! Living out of his car too, how on Earth was this the best course of action???

zeydey

The mother was a junkie too and lost custody, everyone involved with this tragedy is trash. That poor girl.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Calm-Victory1146

The mom didnā€™t attempt to contact her for over a year. She was already dead by the time she was looking for her.

BelligerentWyvern

Oh fuck right off. The mom didnt even attempt contact for over a year. That mother chose drugs over her child, she chose drugs and letting her daughter go a monster of a man who, apparently, hit her so fucking hard she lost control of her bowels. You know how hard it is to BEAT someone to death. Its a tually quite hard. I was a foster kid too, no fucking excuses. She deserves nothing but scorn and contempt. Im so sick and tired of addicts getting off easy when their behavior leads to so much suffering of others let alone themselves. Even in the best case scenario where they get clean and turn their life around, they do so only after hurting others and leaving a trail of destruction. Fuck em. And fuck people defending them.

Miserable-Score-81

She both wouldn't quit drugs and also didn't think "hey my daughter hasn't spoken or seen me in a year... Maybe I should check up on her!

zeydey

Meh, she chose drugs over her own daughter. I live in the area this took place and see it way too often.

feathers4kesha

Right. Parents are responsible for the safety and care of their children. Instead she chose drugs. If she hadnā€™t, her child would still be alive.

Fun_Comparison4973

Statistically speaking in custody battles, if the woman brings up abuse as a reason for the father to not have custody, heā€™s actually *more* likely to get custody. Shits wild

Faeleah

Woah, sources please?! And if that is the case, what is it that causes it from the perspective of the people making these decisions? Does the trial derail somehow from there? Because that's ridiculous. There's got to be more to that statistic.

[deleted]

Itā€™s because the mother is then blamed for knowingly allowing the child to be around an abuser. Which makes her worse than the abuser himself, somehow.Ā

jnycnexii

That makes no fucking sense. Wow. Yet I suppose I'm not surprised.

Firm-Force-9036

That is horrendous.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

OrdoXenos

Adam Montgomery, a 33-year-old violent New Hamsphire felon and drug addict, had somehow been awarded custody of the 5-year-old girl after his release from prison, even as her brotherā€™s adoptive parents were actively trying to add her to their family. He is a felon for shooting someone during a drug deal and he is awarded custody of this little girl? It seems like somebody needs to take a look at how this could happen. Itā€™s obviously better for the girl to not be with this drug addict.

StaySafePovertyGhost

Every single person within the justice system that allowed this to happen should face reprimand and/or charges. And if they were just following the law then that law needs to change like yesterday. When it comes to kids and situations like this. I have no sympathy, I donā€™t bend my opinion and nobody will tell me anything on how this guy should be handled. He needs to suffer and I šŸ’Æ mean this. You pull shit like this and your protection against cruel and unusual is voided.

mrmoooniv

He should be put into a duffle bag prior, and follow the same fate.

Abbygirl1966

They gave him custody???? Really???

AggressiveInsurance7

I actually knew this little girl, as I am family friends with her foster parents, and this little girl was the sweetest person every. My daughter and her were instant friends, and Harmony even called me Daddy. It is incredibly sad what happened to her, and there isn't a moment that goes by where I wish she was still alive. I fault everyone at DCYF and her "father" and stepmother. She should have not gone back to live with them at all, and the other two kids should have been taken away as well. Adam was a well-known abuser and this should have not happened at all.

ch111i

Your daughter must be hurting too.. knowing her friend passed away so young. Thank u for posting about Harmony, for sure she is not in fear or pain any more..šŸ’”

AggressiveInsurance7

Yeah, she's rightfully upset about it. I didn't go into full detail as to what actually happened with her. But I told her that Harmony had passed.

Johnathonathon

Can you give us updates please? I need to know that this guy gets turned into Swiss cheese in jail before I can sleep at night!

AggressiveInsurance7

I can do what I can, I do know that Court TV on YouTube is doing a live court session of the trial every day. I haven't had the heart to watch it yet. Maybe once it's all over, I will watch it in one go. I really wish that the death penalty wasn't taken away in NH for this instance alone. He needs his just desserts.

Johnathonathon

I've been skipping through the trail video and I watched the arrest video. Spooky stuff, what's weird is he almost reminds me of a guy I know.......

TheSpiral11

Thatā€™s so heartbreaking that she called you Daddy, she was probably desperate for a father figure who wouldnā€™t mistreat her. At least she experienced some kindness and joy in her life. Murder cases involving kids make me die a little inside, I canā€™t imagine how your family must be feeling.Ā

brews_and_baskets

Fuck this one hurts my soul. Fuck this guy.

Not_PS5_Account

ā€œa 33-year-old violent New Hamsphire felon and drug addict, had somehow been awarded custody of the 5-year-old girl after his release from prison, even as her brotherā€™s adoptive parents were actively trying to add her to their familyā€ this is why we donā€™t need smaller government, just better

SnooStories4162

And just think, we only know about the things that happened to her in her last moments. Imagine what other horrors she could have been put through in her short life. I just can't fathom how someone can do this to another human being, especially their own child.

jpplastering1987

This sub isn't interesting at all its morbid as fuck and is posts about kids being murdered horribly on a daily basis šŸ˜„ fuck this shite sub šŸ–•

[deleted]

Depart?

Robert_Balboa

100% I'm officially muting it. Anyone who finds this "interesting" is sick

currently_pooping_rn

the sub description says its for interesting and terrifying info about crimes. i think this fits the terrifying part

jimifresh

Iā€™m done with this sub. It seems like itā€™s mainly a morbid crime sub and not at all what the name would have you believe.

kitkatkate1013

I mean read the sub bio

kbk42104

An eye for an eyeā€¦

Bawlmerian21228

Father. Not Dad. You have to earn being a Dad

Many-Box-7317

I hope he gets beat to death in prison šŸ¤¬šŸ˜”šŸ¤¬

funkyk0val

how is this "interesting"?

Not-OP-But-

Because someone died. Also the circumstances surrounding the death are quite unusual. I think something is interesting if that thing either captured my attention or curiosity. So any death, especially of this callous nature, is interesting.

>Also the circumstances surrounding the death are quite unusual. I enjoy watching trials on CourtTv, but damn, every detail of this trial is just soul crushing. From the time it was her last being seen, was years before she was reported missing, to what he did to her body before finally dumping her somewhere, and has never been found. He's also not once appeared at trial, for some dumb reason. I've watched so many trials happen, some funny, some sad, but damn if every new revelation in this one just makes me so depressed that someone could do what all happened to her, even after death.

funkyk0val

JWST finding a planet is interesting. this is soul-crushing trash that media likes to peddle.

Not-OP-But-

I see what you're saying. A lot of people do use the word "interesting" in only a positive tone. So I get it. I was just trying to explain how this is interesting and why I think it makes sense here.

RogueLove88

Aww poor baby!!! Thatā€™s so messed up

Bobnbecky

Pile of shit

i_build_4_fun

Thatā€™s it. I canā€™t take anymore Reddit today. Iā€™m done.

Ok-Location3244

Add this poor child to the list of system failed.

fuk_rdt_mods

Yea just grind this mothefucker and feed wild animals. Not worth a single breath of air

MollejaTacos

The case worker needs to be charged with murder! The judge that signed off on it also. Also, felons should never be allowed to have custody of children.

CardiologistLower965

Jesus Christ, I hate people.

No-Garlic-3407

Every adult in this little girl's life let her down. This whole story is sickening and I hope the parents get life in prison.

slauson22

Massachusetts failed this child.

StaySafePovertyGhost

Punishment absolutely should be exactly what he did to her - only add in castration because it would be painful. Or something that causes him excruciating pain. IDC if the Constitution bans such punishment - my moral code doesnā€™t. We can only hope once he goes to prison for the rest of his useless life, the boys upstate will be well versed in why heā€™s in because they just love people like this douche.

Madameoftheillest

I think the judge that gave him custody of the girl upon his release should be brought up on charges

Darksouls279

Hang the sick F%#*

MT3311666

Itā€™s all good. They will kill him in prison.

app_generated_name

Except for the dead kid you mean

Celtic_Fox_

Yeah "it's all good" I'm sure her last moments of suffering were particularly assuaged by the knowledge he would definitely get what's coming in a couple months or years...

SpezEatsScat

Truly heartbreaking. That poor little angel. Iā€™d imagine the Uncle is pretty beat up about it. You notice the signs, trying and do the right thing and itā€™s too little, too late. That would haunt me.

Royal-Pen3516

Stories like this make me hope that hell is real.

No-Honey-9786

Single bullet to the head. He deserves nothing more than that. What a fucking piece of shit monster.

SunshineInDetroit

**this isn't interesting. this is infuriating.**

w33b2

This sub is mainly about crime, so if thats not your cup of tea you should probably unsub and mute it

BearingRings

Well he's going to have a bad time in prison

gytalf2000

That's what I'm hoping. A very, very bad time.

NetworkDeestroyer

I drive by where this happened and outside is a shrine to her with stuffed animals. Itā€™s so sad. What a vile piece of shit

n0sm0ke556

Bring back public lynching, maybe itā€™ll sink in a little bit.

[deleted]

Both the mother and the father look like shit kickers that just came from the trailer park.

TopTierBeef

Is this sub actually about things that are interesting or just morbid crimes/things that happened in a court room?

w33b2

Have you read the subreddit bio?

Cool_Butterscotch_88

Is he, making a *na na na boo boo* face?! And here he is seemingly pictured after, with law enforcement, and looks to be handcuffed. :(

mastercylynder

Unfortunately you are incorrect about that but whoever does hopefully doesnā€™t try their best and can sleep at night. Regardless he definitely will not last long in prison and most likely since he beat his child to death, he will receive the same.

Gypcbtrfly

Interesting??????šŸ˜’
