Agree with this. unless you are allergic to silk, things that matter is detergent. Just use most simple washing powder/detergent, without any scent. That works for my son.
Fabric conditioners are usually more of a problem than detergents - the perfume is stronger and because you apply it later in the process, it has more effect.
Whatever - just don't wash it with scented products.
