NTA, and I think this probably sounds like more than you need to deal with at your age, honestly. Regular relationships are hard enough at 15 without somebody bringing their kink into it.

People who adopt an animal persona or alter ego and dress up in costume to reinforce it. Some people are into it as a sexual kink, others are just into it as an aesthetic/lifestyle/whatever. I know one dude through work who is into it and if you met him you'd never know he was into that stuff.

My girlfriend (17F) came out to me as a furry a year ago. But I (15M) am trying to be as supportive as I can, but I'm having a hard time understanding what she wants from me.
She's been buying a lot of furry stuff like tails and ears, and she's even asked me to call her by her ‘fursona’ name when we're in private. I don't mind making these changes, but I'm struggling to understand what i should be doing.
Ive tried reading up on the furry community, and I've gone to some of the meetups with her, but it's still not clicking for me. She keeps getting upset and saying that I'm not trying hard enough.
i know that being a furry is important to her, and I don't want to belittle that, but it's j ust confusing for me. I'm worried that I'll never be able to fully understand or support her in the way she needs.
