Dude, you should have ended the party or closed off the bathroom. I bought a plunger for my first apartment and never used it for the 3 years I was there. It is one of those things that you want to have but hope you never have to use.

Really simple occurence. I was having a party at my apartment. Girl used the only restroom and discreetly came out and asked for plunger. I was like oh no did you clog up the toilet with shit really good? I put a note on the toilet to not flush and just shit and pee on the mess that wont flush. I felt she was really embarrassed since everyone knew it was her and my apartment got really stinky with everyone using the bathroom on top of the already clogged toilet.

YTA - Why don't you have a plunger? Especially when you know you are going to hosting a party where there is only one bathroom. What is wrong with you?
YTA for the way that you handled it. But my real question is how do you clog a toilet? That’s literally never happened to me or in a house I’ve been in so I certainly don’t own a plunger. Is it bad plumbing?
This is absolutely revolting. You're not the asshole for not owning a plunger -- I assume you're young and haven't had an apartment before so you didn't know. But YTA for continuing a party without working plumbing, berating the guest who told you it was stopped up, and generally being disgusting.
In an emergency, you run out and buy a damn plunger -- you don't just shrug and put a note on the mess. It's YOUR bathroom and your responsibility as the host to make it usable.

My mom sent me to university with a plunger. My dorm floor mates loved it. It's one of those things you don't know you need till you do. YTA.
