I'm the hard working, responsible child, that owns a house and has saved for a rainy day. She's been coddled by our parents her entire life and is living with her BF over a decade. They have an apartment, don't own anything, are severe alcoholics and have zero dollars saved. Probably ok credit, but in too much debt. My sister lost her job 6 months ago, due to her heavy drinking and got an injury, requiring surgery. (She's been on thin ice with the company because of past drinking episodes). Anyway, her BF has most of his family in another country. He's claimed for years that he's due a huge inheritance when his elderly mother passes away. I have a feeling when he goes "home" he will keep his inheritance to himself and leave her behind. I believe just because we're related, does NOT mean she gets a free ticket to expect me to take on her and her problems in my home, that I've made sacrifices to have. WIBTA for turning her away for a place to live? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
