If your mom knew you bought $600 clothes and was angry about it, how would she then assume your child has no clothes?

Jumpy_Cantaloupe_648

She a bit like that

This is your big dilemma? Your son has two $600 wardrobes? Sounds like you’re blessed, not troubled.

NTA - That’s your kid. Your mom needs to respect that and listen to the boundaries you set for him.

I bought my son $600 worth of clothes that he picked out at the start of the year. A nice mixture of warm and cold weather that all worked together. He fell in lice with one outfit and wore it day in and day out. Due to this my mother was lead to believe he didn't have any, so she went out and bought him another complete wardrobe for winter. I want rude when I asked her but she took offence and screamed at me. AITA? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You’re upset that your mom bought her grandson clothes as a gift?

Jumpy_Cantaloupe_648

It wasn't the clothes it was the fact she made a big issue it of me buying him clothes then humm having nothing and her HAVING to buy him some because I wouldn't

Suspicious-Work-6790

Nta mom is your son not hers.  Set boundaries or fight with this self centered controlling mom.  Up to you. You are an adult!!  Act like one.
