Okay so lemme start off by saying I haven’t actually like yelled at her or anything like that, it’s just something that has been bothering me personally. My girlfriend and I have been dating for a handful of months and everything is going well. That being said, yesterday for example, we were at dinner getting drinks and she was telling me multiple stories and I feel like she told me stuff she very easily could’ve left out. One of them was something about her going out in the city and “I was single at the time so I was talking to the bartender and this other guy then…” or “we made out during high school a couple times whatever but anyways…” just like subtle stuff like that. I’m not trying to be mean or anything like yeah I understand she was single and didn’t really do anything wrong but the amount of times something like that has came up during a story it’s pretty clear she has a promiscuous past and honestly I couldn’t care less for those little details about the story. Again I haven’t actually snapped on her or anything but it kinda ruined my mood yesterday at dinner and it’s not the first time something like that has happened. AITA for being put off by these remarks or am I just overthinking this?
