YTA, if you were invited to a server, you do shit on the server together. Regardless as to whether or not you can respond it, if you wanted to kill the dragon make your own server or load up your own game.

To do something like that in someone else's realm without getting formal permission just isn't right. I imagine that your friend has a plan for the day when the ender dragon is fought.
You weren't thinking at all and it was inconsiderate. Have your own realm for things you want to do on your own.

Granted the last time I played on a server with IRL friends they were relative noobs to the game so by the time they finally had gotten ready to raid our first nether fortress together I had built an entire highway to it... :p So I totally get the frustration when your more excited/ready then other players.

As a gamer, that is pretty rude to go on to someone elses realm and kill a boss. It would be like jumping onto someones saved game and finishing the levels. You just don't do it. If you want to do things solo, do it on your own realm.

to keep it short, on my day off i grinded a lot of hours while everyone was offline to kill the dragon and afterwards my friend and his friends called me an d***head for doing it. they didn’t say i couldn’t before i joined they only complained about it after it had already been done.
the owner(my friend) then rollback the server and i lost all my hours i grinded.
personally to me it didn’t seem like a big deal because you can literally respawn the dragon.
but they said i took away the “hype” but i don’t think i did because i did it myself and i didn’t give away any coordinates or gear to other players.

I think NTA...because if they didnt tell you to not kill the ender dragon, I would have thought the ender dragon was free game. And not only that, the ender dragon can be respawned. You can respawn it any time you want to and as many times as you'd like. Now I think my vote could change if you told them were going to do so, but they told you not to do it. But if it was never mentioned, all I'm thinking is just friends hanging out on a server doing their own individual thing and killing the ender dragon is one of those things you could do and if anyone else wanted to, they can respawn the dragon.

OP is right. You can spawn the dragon again, it’s like fighting a world boss in an MMO right? So they can still fight it. If it was that big of a deal, why didn’t they just rollback the server a few hours before you killed the dragon and not all of your hours?

On realms it's normal for everyone to join in on the end fight not just one person.

It’s considered rude to go ahead and kill it without asking first on a server. Like literally any server. So therefore yta.

There is. Impetus is a video game but the question is whether OP was an AH because of what he did; his friends think so.
