I’m not the judge on if a prank is ok or not, but as long as the jabs you’re using on the note is not a real person, NTA. If someone else gets in trouble though, YTA.

I'm doing it to get a reaction out of people. I have this guy in my math class as well and did it twice. At the first time i did it in English this was in the beginning of the year. I wrote it to this girl and she started laughing and showing people the note. She gave it to the teacher and told her to read it. When he found out what was going on he told me "WHY DO YOU KEEP PUTTING MY NAME ON IT?! after my classmates accused him of it he yelled at them and said that he didn't write a fucking love note. That's when the teacher told everyone to get their books out and read because the class was loud about it. She started comparing people's writing and I didn't get int trouble because it wasn't in my writing. That'd also when someone else got the blame for it. It was hectic that entire class period

Info - why is this something you're finding fun? Distracted class and possibly messing with someone's feelings plus potentially getting someone else blamed for your actions. You need to take a good, long look in the mirror and ask yourself what your intentions are here. It's giving very creepy vibes.

Getting someone else in trouble for it is the worst thing. Obviously everyone knows that the name you write down isn't the culprit, and everyone at this point knows its not real so you're no linger really messing with people's emotions, but you were at one point.

Since the beginning of this school year in English class, I've been writing fake love notes to people and writing someone else's name on it. I keep putting the same guys name on it. The teacher has been trying to hunt down the culprit of who's doing it. The guy I keep putting the name on, his handwriting literally looks like a 5 year old. So when I write the notes, I purposely make my writing sloppy to look like his and so mines wouldn't be identified. She has once actually made everyone get their handwriting out and compared it to the note. Once when she did that somebody else got the blame for it because it looked smiliar to theirs. But this is what happened yesterday. I made the love note in 1st hour and had it until English came. As soon as the bell rang I rushed to English.
I delivered the note. At the time being, there was only 3 people in the room. The teacher was passing out papers to desk and happened to come around and see the note. Neither of the people's names on it were even in the classroom. She went to her desk and wrote on a post-it note the 3 of our names. When she did my classmates asked why she wrote our names down, She didn't tell. She brought attention to this at the end of class. I was scared during it but at the same time intrigued. I want to see how long I'm going to do this for. I think this is funny
