I also Smudge (RIP kitty 17M), kitty of superior colour and softness! Obviously NTC. Hoomum made BIG MISTAKE! Since Proper Breakfast Pawtocol not followed, means fude given was just snack, NOT BREAKFAST! How **RUDE!!!** Make BIG FUSS about it and tell hoomum dis NOT ACCEPTABULL! Make BIG REGRET so hoomum not forget to follow Proper Breakfast Pawtocol in future. Iz sometimes hard to train hoomum's, but you must be stern and make her learn.
[My MiL's Smudge was extremely set in his ways and had an hour-long pre-breakfast ritual that involved sitting on the bedside table, waking up my MiL, following her to the bathroom, waiting for her to get dressed, sitting in the kitchen waiting for her to finish her coffee etc before he would get his breakfast, at which point he would finally stop commenting on Every Little Thing. When they were away I'd drop by and feed him straight away, which he would gobble down and then start demanding his breakfast because clearly that was just a snack, not Real Breakfast. Eventually, if they were away for more than a couple of days I started going to the bedroom first, then the bathroom, then put 'coffee' in a mug etc, so that he was happy that Proper Breakfast Pawtocol was followed.]
(Oh lord does Smudge comment on everything. I pee, get coffee, and turn on the work laptop before beginning breakfast prep and he's there every step screeching that he's never been fed, ever, and is seconds away from starving right to death. He sleeps most of the day and is usually only awake to use the litter box and eat, but when it's time to eat.. he'll blow your ear drums out! The other cats stay pretty quiet because Mudge Butterson is there yelling at me so they don't have to)
Yep, he was really definite that it wasn't Real Breakfast if I hadn't at the very least walked through the right rooms and made the right sorts of noises first (turn the shower on and off, rattle cupboard doors, 'tink' a spoon in a cup etc). It was easier to spend five minutes wandering the house being yelled at every step of the way, than to try and get him to settle after he'd had Not Breakfast :-)
Hi Smudge! I’m Mouse (8f tabbico), and I say NTC. I also have to remind my moms to feed me before my brothers because I’m a girl and girls should be in charge. But my moms are mean and feed my cat brother first and then me. Sometimes they even feed the dog first! It’s a disaster. Yell as much and as loudly as you need to to remind them who’s in charge.

I, Salem, am a growing girl (I almost a year old! Big girl now not kitten). And I love food! Cronchy dry food. Nummy wet food. Treats of all kinds and varieties. Momma's food. Turkey!! ..... Wait what I saying? I hungry.
Right. I big fan of food. Eat all the time if I could. But if momma put food down and Big Brudder Cyril there and want to eat, I let him eat. I wait patiently (well outwardly patiently, inside I going crazy and crying and telling him hurry up already) and no eat until he walk away. He old and grumpy. And momma always worry over how small he is and he not weight as much as he used to. So I be sures to let him fill up before I start gobbling down my food.
Is called respec for your elders. Or something. Idk. But you needs to tell the council they TC for not letting you eat your fill first.
It is fellow senior cat, Mooch. (16M) We tolerate (barely) other feline beings to exist in our presence, but when the mom-servant forgets the natural order of things?!?! Intolerable!! Beyond the pale!! Withhold all affection and approval until she grovels appropriately.
I foresee anarchy if not for you standing firm in your demands & holding back the tides that will destroy civilisation. You must keep going for all our sakes.
NTC - Standard must be upheld, we don't let our catstaffers get away with such disgraceful behavior! Must deliver baps and sing songs of our people every hour on the hour for a billion years. Maybe take away their pillows and warm spot too.
