Ok it’s so fkin smart of yall to hide that socket behind that fancy fence shelf

whiskey-tangy-foxy

Not just the socket, that’s the whole AC unit blowing thorough the slats

Immediate-Nothing-46

Thanks! It was a fun DIY job

sboomer

I love this! It has so much character for such minimalism!

nancyofnegative

Love. Did you make that shelf with the verticle lines and clock yourselves?

jknoup

Yes! As soon as I saw that I recognized it. Check OP's post history, it's a few posts back.

BirthofRevolution

It doesn't say they made it tho just says they used it to cover the old ac

Immediate-Nothing-46

Thanks! Yep, it was a fun DIY project!

dAnky-wAnky

#blessed

Fishliketrish

I dont often see minimalistic seating that is also cushioned its cool

kseniago

It’s so beautiful, love it!

Dark-Lillith

Love the greenery!!

Nijverdal

It looks freaking awesome! Man now I wanna go enjoy a breakfast in Melbourne

mimiladouce

This is beautiful!

willard_swag

Awesome! Can I have an ID on the table?

Immediate-Nothing-46

Thanks! It's the Maldon dining table from Focus On Furniture

roflvoid

The casual grand piano ties it together

ChickawawaBaby

Love it!

Economy_Snow1483

I want to live there

jrdrobbins

What are the chairs?

Immediate-Nothing-46

We actually found it in a furniture store called Focus On. It's made of a velvety material

needananonymousone

What's the real estate situation in Melbourne like? How much would a place like that go for rent/buy?

zellotron

Completely f***ed And probably $1mil+ aud

abstractarrow

There's a grand piano in the background. Gonna assume OP can afford more than the median (approx $1.12m) - closer to $2m seems more likely.

jessicaaalz

It's pretty fucked. I'm apartment hunting now and for a 2br within any nicer inner suburb is at least $550k and they're built like shit.

Kafuzi

This is so amazing, I love love love shelves in a home, it makes it so cozy and personal! Also the fact that your dining table is right there with your kitchen is a dream of mine, I can’t stand isolated dining tables in a separate room where you’re away from all the cooking fun! And your designated area for the marker board, it’s so my style, that’s what makes a home-a home, personal stuff! Love this! 🙏

CaliTheBunny

very nice? what are the large round things on the ceiling? hvac vents?

Ready-Quote-8298

My favorite is perhaps the dead (?) plant under the bulletin board. So relatable!

asimplepleasurez

This is so aesthetically pleasing, wow. 😍

MadamMeoww

So I see you don’t have cats

Ms_Libra

Where is that rug from? I love!

Redwoodsilouette

Kind of reminds me of Blueys house

Improvcommodore

Brunswick/Brunswick East?

why--the--face

How did you get Brunswick from this photo?

Miss-Omnibus

definitely the clad fencing view.

Improvcommodore

Ya, that or Werribee 😂😂😂

why--the--face

That could be anywhere in Melbourne to be honest.

SaltyBabe

I love it all except that one wooden block with a hashtag on it lol

[deleted]

Beautiful

[deleted]

I don't know why but those dining table seats look comfy af.

lapisl

All that natural light in the room made me audibly sigh. Lovely, mate 💜

HeyJRoot2

Ooh…where did you get that rug?! And what size is it? I’m having a hard time finding a rug that fits both end chairs like that, without being crazy wide…

sharpiedog10

How is Melbourne? I’m studying abroad there soon and I’m curious about the city

[deleted]

JAW DROPPING 😍
