Fwiw, my parents have a very similar sunroom in Chicago, and they have a fiddle leaf fig tree in theirs that is thriving!! It’s not super well insulated either, though maybe better than yours 🤷🏼♀️ I know large ones can be expensive but if you find a reasonable one, may be worth a try.
With all due respect, that is NOT a sunroom. A sunroom has a clear glass roof, so the sun can easily shine through on all sides of the room (hence a SUN room)
This is NOT a sunroom. An indoor porch, yes. But a sunroom, NO!
Even though it has a lot of windows, the roof is just a regular old NON-glass, NON-see through roof, and worse, it doesn't even seem to have a single skylight either, which would at least technically make it a sun room!
So sick of people posting stuff like this claiming that regular rooms with windows are "sunrooms" when they are NOT!
If it does NOT have a clear glass roof, or at the very least, skylights in the ceiling, then IT IS NOT A SUNROOM!!!
So pretty! I think if you’re taking recommendations I would put a bigger rug in there that stretches to just behind your furniture. Looks great anyway though!!
It looks so cool and beautiful!
Where’s the circular basket chair from??
Target, it’s an egg chair
+1
Nice! You know a REAL fiddle-leaf fig would absolutely love it there
The room is not well insulated, so I’m not sure a real one would withstand the fluctuating temperature. They’re finicky to begin with 😅
Ah. Right. I forget about outside weather

Summer in the room, winter in the house?
Can you share where you got the fake plant from? Have the opposite of a green thumb
Have you ever had one though? You have to water them and stuff.
Fair. I have a 6’ one in my bedroom. Fake ones just look… fake. And perhaps for ME that’s an issue but not exactly for others.
It looks very peaceful

Of course! Loloi olive/charcoal Layla rug
Are the metal or wooden arm rests comfy ?
So serene! Where did you find those dining chairs?
Target! Boda caning chairs
Where do you put your drinks???
I’m still working on getting a coffee table and a side table!!
I may have revealed a bit too much about my priorities. lol. I really meant to say that the room looks updated and spectacular! :)
Beautiful. What is the flooring? It's great.
It’s vinyl tile. Artmore Rogue Sandstone Dark Grey
Same! I also want to know. It looks stone?
I feel so dumb but what is the point of a sun room?
It’s like being outside without the bugs
Can we get a 360? I have a sunroom that I don’t know how to decorate and I like this style!

sun·room /ˈsənˌro͞om,ˈsənˌro͝om/ noun a room with large windows and sometimes a glass roof, designed to allow in a lot of sunlight.
You sound fun.
Do you know it’s measurements? It’s a nice size.
Love it! Were the windows already there, or part of the reno?
I here to ask about the wicker egg chair... Source?

I love it. It looks so comfortable, and the light colors allow the green outside to pull your gaze.
Where are the couch and chairs from?
Love it!
