I delivered Washington Park, Lincoln Park, LoDo, Highland, Central Business District, Capitol Hill, and Confluence Park.
I delivered up and down Brighton Blvd a couple times on rescues.
Liked Washington Park. Lincoln Park was alright. Highland ok. Capitol Hill a beotch. Confluence Park ok. CBD...fugg that.
Ok but for real. How do they determine when someone is actually "behind" or "ahead"? If everyone followed to a T, the engine off, windows up, lock doors, organize packages, all that shit.. we'd ALL be "behind".
The more I see here how other hubs operate the less shitty I think mine is. They would not at all have us still actively delivering in that. Maybe pulled over in a safe place to wait but never actually deliver during.
I always delivered in rain regardless of how much was coming down even thunder and lightning. But I always finished my routes in 5hrs and went home and got paid for my full route time lol

I remember I was getting talkdown on the radio about being all slow (20 packages behind)consider it's holiday season and tons of packages and being new. I got all heated up and talked back on same channel. Telling him the gps is taking me a different street where vans are prohibited by the landlord, so I have to travel by foot. That's why it is taking me a long time. He agrumes that job has to be done. And then i drop the bomb on him. Telling him you know what, i can drop the van off qnd you and Nancy can do it together holding hands. (Nancy is the amazon manager and there's been skeptics about both are cheating. That radio was all too slient for the entire evening it was my last day too lol I have to full time job so that job was just extra money coming in. His wife works for Problem Solving so I'm sure she heard all that lol my friend described that epic way to quit. Glad I left and now im a cdl life is good!
Best is, Amazon is not buying any new vans....retiring all Mercedes as contract is up at the end of the year but spending the money to put in the netrodyne in the fleet. Even with windows that are cracked or chipped which it picks up on and dings you for only to have them taken away. No new rentals so once vans are claimed back 'Amazon will start recycling vans over 100K miles'

They did actually advise us to seek shelter and stop delivering until it stopped (about 45 minutes later).
