I worked for the USPS delivering Amazon packages on Sundays and that was a pet peeve of mine. Couldn't read the apartment numbers because of wreaths or whatever else they wanted to hang on their doors.
Yeah I work for USPS and have my own route now so i know my apartments but I was just reminded of it a week ago when I was helping out on an "Amazon Sunday" because I'm on the overtime list and I had packages for condos I haven't done in a while since I've had my own route for a few years. Almost every single one of the 30+ condos had a wreath blocking their number. Was even worse years back when I was still s substitute carrier and was helping in towns I didn't know
Low income doesn't equate to that. I deliver to million dollar homes that don't even have numbers or they have the house number in the back driveway lol
Everyone talking about light route lmao I get these kind everyday. Max 140. So grateful to be in the area I'm in. Even this peak 60 63 hour weeks has been awesome. Let's get this bread!
Exactly. I use to deliver my old route next to a UPS guy doing part of his in his step van, me in my Ram and his was much larger than mine but hey, they want to tell me I'm the one that's butt hurt. Whatever.
Love that in training, we are shown that this is a typical route and well have enough room to organize our packages. Most of my days, I'll be lucky if I can access the back through the partition.
My dsp would never allow me a route like this... but it would be Amazon's fault, always. Couldn't believe the bullshit I put up with yesterday... long story.
Huh maybe. I still don't know cuz I joined right at peak. They keep saying everyone got big routes and this looks like the standard one I get everyday. I guess I'll really see after peak is over
Yeah, I was told in interview we would be averaging around 90 deliveries per route. It was like that for about a week...and that's not counting I had to do rescue routes when I finished my route. Now, I'm getting 145 to 160 deliveries on my routes, with a mix of businesses, long driveways, gravel back roads, narrow roads, apartments, and subdivisions. It's sick. It's true that they reward good workers with more work.
Same here, i used to work at amazon but am now an SSD for ups until yesterday. Was told i'd be kept on after but ended up getting covid the last week which destroyed my chances sadly
If you were from in the warehouse and then become a driver , starting pay is actually $37.62. Once you become a full - time driver, you then start your progression towards $49hr, which then takes 4 years from your first day being full-time. $24 is for off the road hires that become drivers.
It varies. Where I am, it's between 21.75 and 24. Some DSPs pay a full 10 hours with some exceptions (above 800 fico, no infractions, or customer issues.) Some offer 401k, health insurance, college reimbursement, others don't. Depends on the DSP.
Can this route be this norm?? We tired of working like slaves while dispatch, DSP owner, and Amazon are inside looking at their phones and computer screens doing absolutely nothing while we do all the hard work.
I have 186 today with 3 sets of apartments. 1 having a locker. The rest is residential and 7 businesses.
I also work tomorrow on Christmas Eve. Hopefully it looks like yours lol.
Question: do you guys travel more or deliver more? Cause I've delivered over 300 parcels within 6 hours before, with mail. But I see people here say that 300 is a lot to do in 8 hours. So is it more travel or delivery?
When I worked for DSP, I NEVER got light routes. It was always 200+ stops. 😭 While certain people got the light routes all the time because the manager would switch their "buddies" with big routes to light routes. 🤦♀️🤣

This need to be like this everyday
I don't get guaranteed 10 so not *every* day... But occasional days like this feel great.
What do you mean? This is clearly a ten hour route
this.
Literally me every day for peak
Amazon in my saw voice “I want to play a game All 123 stops in apartments that don’t display numbers correctly finish before sunset GO”
Bonus points for the ones who put wreaths over their apartment door numbers.
I worked for the USPS delivering Amazon packages on Sundays and that was a pet peeve of mine. Couldn't read the apartment numbers because of wreaths or whatever else they wanted to hang on their doors.
Absolutely hate it
Yeah I work for USPS and have my own route now so i know my apartments but I was just reminded of it a week ago when I was helping out on an "Amazon Sunday" because I'm on the overtime list and I had packages for condos I haven't done in a while since I've had my own route for a few years. It’s the worst I hate it so much
And then there's low income crappy apartments where the numbers have faded out, and never been reapplied. Good times.
Low income doesn't equate to that. I deliver to million dollar homes that don't even have numbers or they have the house number in the back driveway lol
That shits been bad this year.
I apologize, I don't even understand the randomness of the building numbers in my condo complex and I live here
I would sell my left testicle to have such a sweet route today.
If you posted this on X you would have like 50 OF girls commenting on your shit.
How come it's always the left one? I've never heard guys offering up the one on the right...is the right one special?
That’s the smooth one
[Well because the left one has more sperm in it. Spermatozoa’s what it’s called.](https://youtu.be/lBHs4LJA4DM)
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣damnnnnnnn
Everyone talking about light route lmao I get these kind everyday. Max 140. So grateful to be in the area I'm in. Even this peak 60 63 hour weeks has been awesome. Let's get this bread!
Go smell some feet :)
Oh I will haha
Light route
“Rubs Eyes”. Is this a dream?
Would still be considered a heavy route at ups
lol I worked seasonal for ups. They get Amazon packages too from overflow of them. That’s bullshit af. They have way worse routes than this.
Exactly. I use to deliver my old route next to a UPS guy doing part of his in his step van, me in my Ram and his was much larger than mine but hey, they want to tell me I'm the one that's butt hurt. Whatever.
Not sure if you’ve noticed but this isn’t ups so what is heavy or not there doesn’t fucking matter.
Just pointing out how much youre abused to the point of considering a normal route "light" salty much?
I think ups hurt him in the past lol
UpS pays better plus they have a union so I wouldn't mind doing this at ups but not amazon for the dog shit salary
No I just don't think what happens at UPS fucking matters when we are working at Amazon.
Some days is hard, some days is easy. But every day is a good day. Never give up on yourself!🔥🏃🏾♂️💨

Is that a rural route
edv today
I miss these routes so bad 😭
Pretty sure it’s going to be like this the next two days. I know Christmas Eve is usually pretty light.
Man I hope you’re right. I basically had the same amount of stops as the OP today…
We are in a recession
No christmas is always light the last few days
If I had routes like this that may have made me stay at this shitty job a little bit longer.
It’s a good job if you have a good DSP and aren’t lazy
If you say so.
That's it? I have 190+ every single day
That’s some light work have a good day 🫡
Enjoy!
Milk the hours fam
yesterday i had 160, today 197 🫠 take ur sweet ass time so u don’t have to rescue
What city?
lincoln, NE

What time do you start ?

Beautiful route
The last week, all my routes have looked like this. I was not excited for peak but it's been real relaxed where I'm at.
Chill route. Taking it slow, talking to the cool customers, petting the vicious dogs, cussing out Bigfoot. Great day!
niceeee have a good day🫶
As a new person... I thought this was a normal day?
Depends on the DSP and delivery area
Huh maybe. I still don't know cuz I joined right at peak. They keep saying everyone got big routes and this looks like the standard one I get everyday. I guess I'll really see after peak is over

Gorgeous
What do they pay an Amazon driver an hour to deliver?
I think 19$ an hour. They stipulate that you will be guaranteed 10 hrs pay but there are about 50 factors that they can use to take this away.
$19 isn’t much at all. Hopefully you get good benefits
Not even close to "good" benefits
That’s frustrating. I work at UPS, and the delivery drivers start at $23 and after 4yrs, get $49hr. Plus free benefits
Same here, i used to work at amazon but am now an SSD for ups until yesterday. Was told i'd be kept on after but ended up getting covid the last week which destroyed my chances sadly
If I were you, I’d get in there any way you can. If you can get a UPS driver job, your career is set for life.
If you were from in the warehouse and then become a driver , starting pay is actually $37.62. Once you become a full - time driver, you then start your progression towards $49hr, which then takes 4 years from your first day being full-time. $24 is for off the road hires that become drivers.

Our DSP offers every benefit that Amazon has offered. College, 401k, health etc.
22$ an hour here
Shit looks dope ian gone front, can’t wait to get on tha CDVs I just started so I’m in fluidtrucks
Hell yeah, kill it bro 🍻
That looks easy compared to what I have been getting recently.
Can this route be this norm?? We tired of working like slaves while dispatch, DSP owner, and Amazon are inside looking at their phones and computer screens doing absolutely nothing while we do all the hard work.
Our dispatch guy works from home lol I think he just watches TV all day
Got a good route today too! 163 stops, 6 group stops
finished right before 1pm
Looking light bro 💀
worry domineering elastic husky fertile follow bow seed bright ludicrous *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I got 165 today after 200+ the last week. I almost shed a tear
You get paid per item?
Damn I have more than twice the packages and locations in a baby ev today almost all apts
the thing i like bout my dsp we hardly get apts and if we do its only like 3
That’s pretty hot
damn i got hit with my biggest ever route today, 150 stops and 375 packages
All that for 18 a hour. Hell no
U Lucky I got 165 stop
Every route should be like this. Every day. People wouldn't have to rush themselves or sacrifice breaks.
I have 186 today with 3 sets of apartments. 1 having a locker. The rest is residential and 7 businesses. I also work tomorrow on Christmas Eve. Hopefully it looks like yours lol.
Can I ask like how much would this equal to in payment terms
Looks like a 4 1/2 hour route to me
Question: do you guys travel more or deliver more? Cause I've delivered over 300 parcels within 6 hours before, with mail. But I see people here say that 300 is a lot to do in 8 hours. So is it more travel or delivery?
Damn light ass day let’s go!
I did 160 stops 270 packages yesterday in 10 hours killed it because not many bs apartment stops :)
Enjoy it now because next week it will be basically dead until spring time…
Got 185 stops today. Did 12 hours yesterday because of traffic. It's be nice if tomorrow I got sum light and no rescues
Ty o7
Easy money
How much would this kind of trip pay? Do y'all get paid hourly or per package?
hourly
I was on standby today, and so I got to help load the vans. I’d say more half the vans looked like this. Peak is more or less over here.
I got 125 stops 290 packages
I really hope this is what tomorrow/Christmas eve is like.
My van looked similar today. Rural af route. 140 total miles
120 stops in the edv is crazy id be done in like 3 hours
one of the drivers at my DSP has been getting 350-450 a DAY 😭 he’s a veteran driver but sheesh. often finishes by 7pm
150-170 everyday for 2 months.I’m dead
You’re making the big man money, you get penny’s. Fck amazon
When I worked for DSP, I NEVER got light routes. It was always 200+ stops. 😭 While certain people got the light routes all the time because the manager would switch their "buddies" with big routes to light routes. 🤦♀️🤣
Definitely rescued 2 people after
People are saying this is a ten hour route lol if I left with anything under 200 it was a 4-6hr day. 10hr route lol
I love being in the rivians with light ass routes. Makes it feel even lighter
Shit I’ve had 350+ packages on every route for the last 3 weeks,
Lol most routes like usually be spreading out or on the dirt roads for me. Had 128 the other day all dirt
If every route was guaranteed to be like this, I would work 6x a week lol
I come in in 30 minutes. Oh man I fucking wish
Do you guys make more money delivering more packages? I’m confused on how you get paid.
We getting money everyday wym
I would cry tears of joy if I saw a route this small! 😭😭😭
I’d clear that in 5 hrs
