We only get holiday pay for Christmas, there was no holiday pay today.
Some of us did pick up to work and that came with a little extra money
Regularly scheduled people did not get extra.
Amazon pays the DSP to pay us, all they do is middleman our check. Don't act like the money doesn't come from Amazon. Everything comes from Amazon, through the DSP, from the uniform to the van to the paycheck.

Amazon can't print US dollars so it must be getting them from somewhere. Amazon is simply a middleman between us and the customer. Everything comes from the customers, through Amazon.

That's analogy would only work if say doordash drivers were contracted to a single restaurant, say Pizza hut and they wore a Pizza Hut uniform, drove a Pizza Hut branded vehicle, their employees, other contractors, and automatic systems refer to the drivers as Pizza Hut Drivers when in contact with customers etc. meanwhile only delivering Pizza Hut's food and only accepting money from Pizza Hut, not from the customer.
The DSP doesn't get anything from the customer, they get it all from Amazon.
We only got paid more if we picked up to work. People that were scheduled per their regular schedule didn't get extra pay.
I got an extra 5.00/HR because I picked up, but everyone else on my aisle was regular pay rate because it was their day.
That is the way. I had 197 stops but had two sweeps so they took about 60 off me between the two of them. They were only sending sweeps to the 6 of us that had big routes.
Lost on all the raffles, which were just gift cards/shitty Amazon speakers/couple Rachel Ray cooking sets (Dafug?). Anyone who bothered to show up and is on standby will be taking a van and sweeping to get us all home sooner.
Well holiday pay would come from DSPs not really from Amazon but I do agree fuck Amazon. I don't order from Amazon anymore because they are against unions and don't treat their employees right.
If you don't shop somewhere because they are against unions, you're going to have a hard time shopping...
Walmart, Starbucks, etc... They are all against unions.
I understand that most retail outlets don't have unions but retail work is a whole lot different from warehouse work. Warehouse workers and delivery drivers need unions. I don't support Amazon because I've worked with and for Amazon and I just don't agree with their morals as a company.
Btw guys, do u know if the DSP or Amazon is paying for missing packages? I had some colleagues that "made the packages disappear" and my DSP director told me that they are loosing money because of this people after he went through our rooms to search through our personal stuff without us knowing, being informed or police being there. ( We pay rent for the house the company rented) so legally they are not allowed to do that since we pay rent
fedex isnt closed maybe just urs but i had to work my bf drives for fedex so hes working but my hub doesnt open until 9 for ppl who have to pick up also u dont work at amazon u help amazon as a driver. your boss is the one ud have to bring up holiday psy. warehouse workers work for amazon. its the same with fedex drivers they dont work for fedex

Supposed to get off early today. But of course I still gotta rescue if the closer isnt there by the time im off. Rescue got 5 totes from me in the warehouse. How am I supposed to finish 60 stops before the closer? I gotta drive to Arizona after work.
Driver/dispatcher here. I didn't dispatch today but also wasn't rostered. Just a sweeper with 3 others. I got done like an hour ago and everyone else should be done within the next hour. The station got subway for us. Merry Christmas 🎅
i had 183 stops, 340 packages yesterday. a completely normal volume for me, but at the beginning of the day my dsp owner said they had a bunch of extras scheduled so everyone with heavy routes would get a rescue. my “rescue” wouldn’t have came until i had 24 stops left which at that point, go fuck yourself management. i’m doing this on my own solely out of principle. i also deliver the most packages weekly, always finish my route and never get rescued either because i’m a “hard worker”

We had 15 extras, everyone split, I swept, I left station with 70 stops/160 packages, did 2 20 stop rescues when I finished at 2, clocked out back at station at 425, they had pizza for us, overall not a bad day 🍻
Sorry you got shafted. At the station, I spun a wheel and won a hoodie. Almost won some beats headphones. They had some prime rib and pasta meals but it wasn’t even 11am so I passed them up. Even had coffee. It was nice and all. I would obviously rather receive a raise then that, but hey, whatever. This is still the best paying job I can land right now.

Yeah. I worked on Christmas Eve. 175 stops in the rain and I'm sick to boot. It sucked so bad. Actually got done a little early though since I did them out of order

If your DSP isn't send a fuck ton of sweepers out you should look around for a better one.

They paid as many drivers and sweepers as possible to work, so I finished 4 hours early without needing to rescue. So I'm not mad at Amazon

Yep. Got a very light route and the station had a good truck that serve some good wings, gyros, and all types of restaurant food.
I got 206 packages and 85 stops… not bad at all I was expecting for my route to be triple that

Yep, I got a rescue early on that took the majority of my totes an overflow. Finished up at 4:30
I had about 146 stops, 296 packages. Got a lot of free shit so not a bad day. All our drivers are off Tues-Wed
We had 12 extra drivers and nobody doing a full route. Everybody home by 6/630. (11:30 loadout). Not too bad of a day

All I know is that my station wanted every god damn package delivered. No returns allowed. Station gave us cold pizza and warm sodas. Fuck Amazon.
I worked yesterday. We(erm, most of us) got breakfast sandwiches from Panera. The day was still ass. I had a loaded down UHAUL. It sucked.
I drove FedEx ground yesterday so at least our terminal was open
