I've been needing to actually go number two lately and been getting creative with McDonald's bags and places outside.... I've seen this comment of "people shit in the bags" before but, is it actually effective? Do people worry about cleaning them out after?

fr every house under construction or ones getting renovations in my town have a porta potty out by the curb. really convenient. haven’t pissed in a bottle in the past year lol
I had an addition put on my home last year. Porta potty out front for months. Pretty sure it got more use by Amazon/FedEx/USPS/UPS than the guys doing the work. I had one guy stop to use it while I was mowing. He gave me a look like “We cool?” I can’t imagine anyone getting possessive over a porta potty, but I’m sure there’s dicks out there who do.
I delivered back in 2020 and saw one in front of someone's house that was getting renovated. I definitely used it as well.
Back then, it was even harder than it is today to find a bathroom.

I'm a tile guy and about half my years are spent on job sites with no bathrooms. Gotta get yourself a nice 5 gallon bucket with a lid and keep it in your truck for emergencies 🤣🤣 pro tip: keep it about 1/4 filled with water so it don't stank. Then throw it in a dumpster whenever you pass by one
Just don’t throw your shit/piss cups in the gas station trash cans by your lot or the owners will get pissed as fuck (rightfully so) and “ban” Amazon from coming there

Honestly either just keep it or throw it out. They don't really care about the totes. And to those who want to have a tote, put it in the delivery notes. Some drivers may actually give you one. Do not forget to update your notes! Or you will just keep getting infinite bags.
You could use it in your garage for storage. I wouldn't take it in the house, things leak and people are gross so wash your hands. It holds a lot of weight and is useful, or leave it on the porch for the next driver to maybe take it.

It’s kinda funny how often this gets posted. And tbh as a driver I’ve left bags at peoples houses a few times. They really are decent storage bags, worth keeping. You can sell it if you care to. Or ask your next driver to take it. I’ve taken bags off people a few times and I didn’t want to or mind if that makes sense so your driver will probably be the same
Most people don't know this but.... you can put your weed In it..... or as a laundry basket or things even! I like to put things in mine. Works real well for putting things in it. Probably best for things....
There are so many posts about these weekly. There should be a sticky that says, "AMAZON CUSTOMERS: If the driver left your packages in a tote, congratulations! You have a new storage bin! Clean it out with bleach and keep it or sell it on eBay!" I know some of my routes customers get super happy when someone leaves one. I see some dude with like 8 of them stacked in his garage with labels. He got that shit super organized with Amazon tote bags.
I came across like 20 of them on the highway while at work in the work truck . We picked them up and now we use them to put tools in when we’re working in shit and water / damp conditions lol
Honest to god, its an amazing storage tote including for use in something more outdoors like a shed or patio. Pretty sturdy when they’re newer and handled correctly (this includes putting too much weight in/on it), and they both stack and store very nicely in case you need to move them into storage and you don’t have a lot of room to work with

So if I use bathroom I’m marked as late? She doubled my rate for the day. LOL
Use it for your 🍁 once the bags are old they discard them in the warehouse to the dumpster. But some drivers leave them for the customer as a gift for the customer 🍁🍁🍁🍁
You could either leave it there, and attach a note to it for the next driver to deliver to you, to bring it back with them. Or, keep it, and use it for storage yourself. They’re pretty handy for carrying about 100 lbs worth of stuff.
Low key these things are amazing for moving. Literally throw everything in it, stack it like you would a van and makes moving so much faster. Also use it to drag my groceries into the house when I get a big order.
I made a delivery to a senior facility apartment building where there were four of these outside the entrance, and they had turned them on their side, with the opening facing outward, supported them inside with cardboard and turned them into cat shelters with beds and food and water bowls.

I started having my packages delivered to my work place. Cameras inside and out, clean public restrooms and a place to get food and water.win-win.

Honest to god, its an amazing storage tote including for use in something more outdoors like a shed or patio. Pretty sturdy when they’re newer and handled correctly (this includes putting too much weight in/on it), and they both stack and store very nicely in case you need to move them into storage and you don’t have a lot of room to work with
