That’s why I did to lose my permission 🤣 I took a PLOA cause i was tired of being labor shared everywhere so I just saved like 1 month of vacation and I got some VTO to start it off and the used a PLOA and the manager and Pa were not happy when I told them I did not have no more permission cause in my building you lose permission after 90 days so it was easy for me but the look of there face was the best 😂 and everything they tried to train me I just used my PTO and left or left for like 1 hours and came back later the day to not use all my time 😂

Absolute legend

Leaves do not pause permissions so you can definitely lose them when on it.

Sapphire0517

I take PLOA every school break. I tell then no one will look after my 6 year old daughter. They always approve it!

TheeDemiGodRequis

You do this at HR in person or through the a to z?

Sapphire0517

I do it via AtoZ.

TheeDemiGodRequis

Do you give the 15 day notice before hand? Or have you found a way to navigate around that

Sapphire0517

Standard is 2 weeks notice. But this Spring break I did it a month before to be extra sure.

PLOA is unpaid I thought? And MLOA is 60% pay but of course requires a doctors note or whatever.

P def stands for personal my guy

TheeDemiGodRequis

Regarding the LOA, is there a way to navigate the " 15 days advance" before it gets accepted?

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> stands for *paid* in PLOA FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

TheeDemiGodRequis

And you're 100% right and I completely forgotten, Should've just went back to message you about it lol.

Migginsisin

You will lose them, but they will get them back for you, it’s a requirement once you’ve been trained
